The Hamilteam

I finally get that moment. Then DEATH.

I woke up screaming, bolting upwards in the Tardis.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

"Anji! You're awake!"

It took me a moment to register my surroundings. There was my unicorn Pegasus, Peppermint, a gift from Mary, licking Elijah's ear. That wasn't new. I was on a bed with an IV connected to my wrist. That one was new.

"What..."

"Lie back down, get some rest. I uh... I gave you some of my Time Lord blood. Now you can only die when I die, and that's not very likely to happen, being the Doctor and all...." He awkwardly scratched his head.

".... Was that safe?"

"... Anyway! I have something to show you."

I decided to bother Elijah about his safety procedures later. He seemed pretty excited to show me whatever this was.

He pulled a few levers in the Tardis, and it stopped with a weird clicking noise. I tried to get up, but he stopped me.

"Slowly, you need rest." He carefully pulled the IV out of me.

I tried to insist that I was fine, but the world started to spin, and I practically fell on top of him. He sighed, took my hand, and slowly led me to the door. He opened it, and what was before my eyes was truly astounding.

It was lush, it was green, and it was beautiful. It looked like earth, but it seemed more pure than that.

"Welcome, to Galifrey-2." He smiled.

I took it all in. It was all so breathtaking and peaceful, like a safe haven. The best part had to be how proud Elijah looked. He had a sparkle in his eye that appeared when he was really pleased with himself.

"When I died, I was actually only gone for two minutes. I came back here to fix myself up so I could go down there and save you. Well, all of you..." He blushed. "Anyway, you can rest here. I hope you'll like it, you can stay in the Tardis until you can walk properly, then I can show you around. There's a-"

I cut him off with a kiss.

I wasn't really thinking. But then again, when am I? All I knew was that Elijah had gone through al that trouble to save me. Yes, we have saved each other's lives before, but nothing like this.

I pulled away, registering what I did. His face was very red, and I knew mine was too. We were silent for a few moments. Being the very smooth person I was, I finally burst out; "Your lips are soft."

Yep. I'm so smooth. You can cringe, it's okay, I won't mind.

We were silent. Then, all at once, we burst out laughing. A Time Lord and a Friendship Keeper, on another planet, laughing for no reason, having just escaping death... again. Because why not?

After we had pulled ourselves together, I remembered something.

"Wait.... where are the others?"

"Sherlock is at home with Harry and Chloe, Gabe and Sofa are up in Heaven."

"What about Mary?"

".... Anji... you should sit down..."

Now I was worried. I walked back into the Tardis, sitting on the couch, trying to slow my heartbeat.

"Anji... when Hades took the wings... he.... well he was using Mary as a vessel and she... well she's..."

"Yes? E, you can tell me anything."

".. She's dead."
