"Where. Are. My. Wings?" Hades snarled in Chloe's ear.

"I will never tell."

"Don't make me do this." He held up the knife.

Chloe stayed silent.

"Alright. I have no choice."

He traced Chloe's forehead lightly with the blade. Chloe didn't scream, but made sounds of pure discomfort.

"This could all end so soon, just fess up..." Hades murmured.

"Never."

"Ah Amora, I am sorry."

Hades stuck the knife in her arm.

"EEP!" She shrieked, forcing her eyes closed. "You cannot get me to speak!"

Hades stuck the knife in her other arm. She cried out in pain, helpless, pleading for assistance that wasn't there.

"Please, please, stop! Have mercy!" She was beginning to crumble. It was so unlike her.

"I am Hades, lord of the dead! I have no mercy!" The knife was poked into her leg.

This happened, over and over, while Chloe was unconscious or otherwise. Soon she was weak, and death loomed closer.

"I will kill you. Tell me where they are!"

"OKAY! OKAY!" She finally broke. "JUST STOP! PLEASE!"

Hades sneered. "Perfect." He purred. He leaned in, and Chloe immediately regretted her decision. But now she had no choice.

"They're... they're...."

Harry was getting ready for his trip. I walked in on him polishing the spikes on his shoulders, and cleaning his tentacles.

"Are you sure you don't want backup?" I asked.

"I'm sure. This'll be a piece of cake, compared to what I've been through. It'll all be worth it to get Chloe back."

I still didn't like the idea of Harry going alone, but what could I do? I placed  some lemonadex and walked out the door. As I closed it, I heard "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones blare from his headphones. At least he was trying to make the best of it.

There was a crash and a screech.

"GUESS WHO HAS THEIR WINGS?!"

Hades stood in the middle of the living room with red eyes and black wings from Mary's back. I dropped the plate I was cleaning and it shattered to the floor. Hades was now close to unstoppable.
