Eyes like a flame
draw me to you
like a moth to a glowing fire
Feeling like I've always loved you
We get to the point of no return
seeing only our world, through half shut eyes
After a reckless summer
Clouds turn black
And we stop seeing the world
through rose-tinted eyes
Hiding behind blank stares
We wonder what could've been
Where have the days gone
When we always had each other
But despite different points of view
we find each other again soon
And an old flame,
A dying fire, starts to burn
