24 Days Till Christmas

Day 2: Call an old friend

It's been a good few years since the PTX World Tour and Scott and Mitch were missing the band's make-up girl, Nicole. They've said hey every once in a while, but they never really had the chance to catch up with each other.

  "Scott, come on. It's almost time to call Nicole." Mitch said, laying down on their bed.

Scott walks to the doorway of the bathroom, where Mitch can see him, with his toothbrush in his mouth.

  "Let me finish brushing my teeth." came his muffled reply.

Mitch groaned in annoyance. 

  "Hurry! I miss her!!"

After a few more minutes, Scott came and laid beside Mitch, who is scowling at him.

  "What?"

  "What do you mean, what? What took you so long?"

  "I flossed and used mouth wash."

Mitch just shook his head at his boyfriend and started dialing Nicole's number.

  "Hey Mitchy!" Nicole's cheery voice came through the speaker phone.

  "Hey queen. You're on speaker."

  "Okay, and hey Scotty! How are my babes?"

  "We're good. We recently started dating not too long ago." Scott replied.

Once we mentioned we started dating, loud squealing was heard over the phone.

  "OH MY GOD!!! Why was I not notified sooner?" She asked.

  "We thought about telling everyone at the upcoming Christmas party we're hosting, but decided to just tell people when we see them."

  "Well I'm glad you didn't. By the way congratulation on your relationship!" We both awed at her compliment.

  "Jason and I aren't dating anymore-"

  "Nicole, we're so-" Mitch started.

  " -WE'RE ENGAGED!!" 

  " -HAPPY FOR YOU! When did this happen?" Scott finished.

  "Last night actually."

  "Congrats babe. We're so happy for you!"

We were so surprised when she said that they weren't dating anymore, but engaged now as of last night. We talked for about fifteen more minutes until she had to leave. Her and her fiancé, I love saying that, were having a late night movie.

  "Well that was a great way to end the day." Mitch stated.

  "Yes it was. I'm so happy for Nicole. They're perfect for each other."

  "I know! So we have an early morning, which means it's time for bed."

Scott groaned. "WHY?"

  "Oh hush, you big baby." 

Mitch gave Scott a small peck on the lips.

  "Goodnight baby."

  "Goodnight my love."
