*Kirstie's PoV*

"Kirstie!" I heard Avi yell.

"Yes Avi?" I yelled back.

"Can you come here please? I need you."

"Coming."

As I begin to ascend the stairs, I hear sounds I never enjoy hearing. I ran up the stairs to Avi's aid.

I open the bathroom door and find him on the floor hanging onto the toilet bowl.

"Oh my baby! What's wrong?" I asked, while kneeling at his side.

"I think I ate something bad or I'm just sick. I don't know, but I feel terrible." He replied.

"I'll go get you something from the -"

"NO! No. Please don't leave me." Avi begged.

"I'll never leave you baby. I'll call Scott to bring something over for you, but until then you must lay in bed." I told him.

"Will you lay with me?"

"Of course. Now, let's get off this nasty floor and into a warm, comfy bed."

I helped Avi up and walked him to our bed. After I got him situated in the bed, I grabbed my phone off the sink and climbed into bed with him.

To Scooter

Can you come by and bring some stomach pills for Avi? He's sick and so I don't want to leave him here alone.

From Scooter

On my way! Mitchy was sick yesterday so I have some stuff hanging around. Ill be there in 10 minutes.

To Scooter

Thank-you! See you soon.

"Scott's on his way, Avi. It won't be much longer." I tell him.

When I look over, I see that Avi is asleep with the covers coming up to his chin.

'So cute!' I thought to myself.

After a while, the doorbell rang. I slowly got out of the bed without waking up Avi and headed down stairs. I open the door to see Scott with Mitch hiding behind him.

"Hey Scotty! Hey Mitchy!" I greeted.

"Hey Kirstie." Scott said with a smile.

"Hi Kirst." Mitch said quietly with a little wave.

"Come on in guys. Avi is upstairs sleeping." I told them, opening the door wider.

Scott grabbed Mitch's hand in his and led him inside towards the kitchen. I followed after them and saw them get out the orange juice from the fridge and put it in a sports bottle and did the same but this time with water. They took out a box of pills and got the recommended dose and put the rest back in the box. Finally they sliced up an apple and put everything on a tray. They grabbed the tray and handed it to me.

"Okay. Make sure Avi drinks all the orange juice and takes these pills with water and eats some of the apple slices. It's best to take them with food." Mitch instructed.

"Thank-you guys so much. I don't know what do without you." I thanked them.

I walked them to the door then headed upstairs to Avi and I's bedroom.

I lightly knocked on the door and heard a grunt in response. I took that as a sign to come in, so I opened the door.

"Avi, I got you some medicine and some juice." I told him as I set it on the nightstand by the bed.

"Thanks Kirstie. I appreciate it." He said with a little rasp to his voice.

I nodded and handed him the pills.

"Now drink the juice and the apple."

He groaned in disapproval.

"You don't even have to eat all of it. Just maybe one or two slices."

"Fine."

I smiled and then went around to the other side of the bed and cuddled into his side.

"Thank-you Nurse Maldonado. I appreciate the meds and the cuddles."

"You're welcome Patient Kaplan. I'm glad you are enjoying the cuddles. Now rest, and that's an order." I said with a wink.

He just laughed then turn on his side and spooned me once we were both situated.
