Trapped

The group, Pentatonix, just finished working on their arrangement of Say Something. It was a long day of arranging and recording but it was something they were use to.

"We need to do something fun and exciting!" Scott announced.

"Like what?" Avi asked.

"We should spend the night at the abandoned hospital that is just up the road." Scott suggested.

"I'm in!" Kirstie and Mitch said in unison.

They laughed at their little 'twin' moment.

"I don't know Scott. People say it's haunted." Avi said, unsure of what to say next.

"Do you really believe that?" Scott asked, crossing his arms.

"Not really, but it's been abandoned for years. The building could be unstable." Avi said, making another excuse.

"Avi, we are going either with or without you." Scott stated.

"Kevin, you going?" Avi asked.

"Yeah, I've already started on making my list of necessities." Kevin said, looking up from his phone.

"Come on babe! We get to hangout more. And when I'm scared you can protect me." Kirstie told Avi with her famous puppy dogface.

Kirstie can make any other the guys do whatever she wanted with that face.

"Fine, I'll go." Avi said in defeat.

The other four scream yes and started heading their separate ways.

"See you guys there at 5:30 sharp." Scott yelled from his car.

At 5:30 exactly, Scott's car pulled up with Mitch, Kirstie, and himself while Avi's car carried Kevin and himself. They all got their backpacks with their flashlights, clothing, water, and snacks and headed up the stairs.

"Ready?" Scott asked.

"Ready." The rest said in unison.

Scott and Mitch held hands, as they entered the hospital with Kevin following and Avi and Kirstie not too far back. After they all entered, a strong wind that came from upstairs slams the door shut behind them. Mitch screamed like a girl and jumped into Scott's arm and hid his face in his chest.

"It's okay. I got you Mitchie." Scott said softly to Mitch.

"Okay, so I'm not liking this one bit. Let's leave." Avi said, scared out of his wits.

"We just got here Avi! Are you seriously going to let some wind scare you?" Scott asked while putting Mitch down.

"Scott, I have a bad feeling about this."

"It doesn't matter if you want to leave or not. We're stuck." Kevin stated after checking the door.

"It's perfect. Now we can go exploring! Mitch, you coming with?" Scott said happily.

Mitch slowly nodded his head and Kirstie claps and said, "I'm coming with!"

"We might need to stay here. The doors might open." Avi suggested.

"Avi, we are doing this horror movie style. The only way out is in." Scott said.

"I'll stay here. The doors always open in the end of the horror movie." Avi stated.

"I'll stay with him. You guys be back in an hour then we can sleep." Kevin said.

The trio squealed in excitement and headed up the stairs.

It's been two hours since they left to explore.

"They were supposed to be back by now." Avi said concerned for his friends and girlfriend's safety.

"Let's go looking for them then." Kevin suggested.

Avi nodded and both of them headed up the stair in search of their friends.

"Kevin, stop being so quiet. It's scary." Avi said.

No response.

Avi looks beside him as he is walking and saw no sign of Kevin.

"Kevin? Kevin. Kevin!" Avi yelled.

This is great, just great. Avi thought to himself.

After forty-five minutes of searching alone, Avi hears someone crying.

"Kirstie!" Avi yelled.

"Yes?" Kirstie said through her sobs.

"I'm here. Shhh...you don't need to be scared anymore." Avi said as he wraps his arms around Kirstie.

"Where are Scott and Mitch?" Avi asked after a few minutes of silence.

Kirstie looks up at Avi with confusion.

"Who?" Kirstie asked.

"Scott and Mitch. The two guys you've known since high school." Avi replied.

"I've never been to high school. I've been here since I was ten years old."

"Kirst, no, you went to Martin High School with Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi." Avi told her.

"No, I've been here!" Kirstie screamed.

Kirstie fought from his grip and ran into the darkness.

"Kirstie come back!" Avi yelled.

Avi waited for her to return but she never came. Avi fell asleep waiting for Kirstie.

Morning came quickly once Avi fell asleep. When he woke up, a bit of the sunlight came through the cracks and on his face. Avi noticed he wasn't alone anymore and they were together in the lobby with the door open.

"Hallelujah!" Avi said loudly

"How did we end up here?" Scott asked opening one eye.

"Well I like how we ended up." Mitch said with a smile.

Scott was in the same sleeping bag with Mitch, which was pretty big, cuddling.

"This was fun but I want to go home." Scott said while placing a kiss on Mitch's forehead.

"Okay."

With that they headed out and told the story to all their friends and said it was just a story and it didn't happen, but it did.
