PTX One Shots

~ Kirstie's POV ~

"Mitch, no. I can't." I said quietly.

I love Mitch with all my heart and I know he likes me back, but we can't be together. I'm afraid of hurting everyone I love. I ran away when I figured out what I am. I was just seven years old. Young, I know. Anyways, I just can't stand to hurt people. When I met Mitch in high school, which was payed by my job, I fell head over heels for the wonderful man.

"Kirstie, you can. I would love to get my heart broken by you." Mitch told me while looking at me in the eye. <<TFIOS reference>>

"Mitch, I'm radioactive. I'm dangerous. It's bad enough that we are friends but I love you. It's going to hurt worse." I started walking away from Mitch and headed into the rain.

I've been walking about five blocks when I heard someone running towards me or in the direction I was going. I turn around and see a guy running towards me.

“Mitch?” I said to myself trying to identify who was running.

Mitch was definitely the one running, which is weird because he never runs. He can run pretty fast though. He ran straight into me and instantly kisses me.

“I don’t care. I love you and you love me that is all that should matter.” He says.

“Mitch, I can’t. You’re go-“ he cuts me off with another kiss.

I broke the kiss, which took all my strength to not melt into it.

“Kirstie, you mean everything to me. Yes, I’ll be sad if-“

“When.”

“When you die but I want to enjoy all the time we have with each other. Okay?” He asked while holding me close.

“Okay.” I replied.

With that said Mitch brought me into a quick kiss and we headed home so we wouldn’t get sick.
