That Drunk Kiss

That night the group had a party with a few friends and the workers that do lights, VIP work, and merch. sales. There was alcohol, food, soda, music (who has a party without music?), and aspirin for the next day. The party was held at Scott and Mitch's shared apartment, which was not that far from Malibu beach so it has a really great balcony view.

Mitch's POV

His eyes, his hair, his smile, his voice, he is everything. His beautiful green eyes are always so full of positivity and energy. His voice is so low I want -

"Mitch, you okay? You have been staring at the wall for ten minutes and haven't said a word." Scott asked with worry in his voice. 

Scott has been my best friend since we were ten years old, in community theater. I know I can trust him with anything.

"I'm fine. Can we talk in the office please?" I asked.

"Sure. I'll be in there in a minute. I need to tell Alex where I am." Scott replied.

I headed downstairs to the basement to the office and waited for Scott to come down. After a few minutes Scott came, basically, tumbling down the stairs since he had alcohol in him and he isn't very coordinated and everyone knows it because he tripped down the stage during a European concert.

Avi's POV

"I bet Mitch is getting some." Kirstie commented as Scott went down to the basement with Mitch.

Why am I worrying? Scott has Alex but he's drunk...oh no. I mentally face palm at my realization and grew sad. I had a huge crush on Mitch since we got big after the Sing-Off.

"Avi, you're crying. Are you okay?" Kirstie asked me.

I shook my head no and headed to the kitchen to grab a drink.

"What's wrong Avi?" Kirstie asked me again.

"I-I lik-like Mi-Mi-tch" I stuttered my reply.

Kirstie ran up and hugged and comforted me. She is so sweet and caring.

Mitch's POV

"Now that you know this, get me drunk but not too drunk to wear I will forget tonight and have a giant hangover." I told Scott.

He gave me a thumbs up and gave me the rest of his drink, which was just a mixture of shots then led me upstairs back to the party. In a matter of minutes I was drunk and my plan was about to commense. When I saw Avi exit the bathroom, I took my chance at stage one.

"Hey Avriel!" I slurred.

"Don't call me that and you are very drunk." Avi stated.

Yes! He thinks I'll forget tonight.

"You have something on your face." I commented.

He went to wipe his face and said, "Did I get it?"

"Nope, I'll get it." I put my hands on the sides of his face and kissed him. He was shocked at first but then gave in and kissed back.

We got 'hoots' and 'hollers' from everyone and Scott and Kirstie high-fived.

I brok the kiss soon after and looked into his eyes.

"Mitch, I-" Avi started.

"I'm not drunk." I stated.

"Me either."

We both smiled and kissed again.

@Essy_PTX_5, she is one of my closest friends on here and we were just messing around a day or two ago and we made a bet. I'm not going to say what because you guys will be like, "Seriously that's so easy." I know it's easy but we both had long days. I am going to say that we both lost and this here one shot is part of my loss but then I also wanted to give her a shout out. ***Guys, she is an amazing writer and she is incredibly sweet.
