A/N: I know a lot of you were expecting a wedding, but who's actually interested in weddings? cx

"What're you doing up so early, sweetheart?" I asked as I entered the living room, seeing Jack in front of the cabin's fireplace as we were on our honeymoon. I sat next to him and wrapped an arm around him, kissing his cheek.

"Making a s'more," He smiled and I looked at the prod he had in his hand that I hadn't noticed with a marshmallow on the end.

"How about you skip on the s'mores and roast a few marshmallows for hot chocolate?" I suggested and his interest perked up a bit.

"That sounds wonderful!" He grinned and looked back at the fire to keep an eye on his marshmallow. "Should we invite Felix, Marzia, and the dogs over for a while?"

"How about we do that tomorrow, love? I was thinking we could spend the day together," I smiled and put a hand on the arm that used to be broken, glad the cast was off and the bones were healed.

"Oh? What would you like to do?" He asked and I rubbed his back with my hand.

"Well, I was thinking I'd take my husband sledding, we could build a snowman... and at night it's supposed to lightly snow and I figured it'd make a beautiful walk," I said all the ideas I've had since we planned our honeymoon here, seeing Jack's face light up with every suggestion. "And then after our walk, we could call Felix and warn him that we're having sex."

"Are we really going to torment him?" Jack giggled and I nodded, going to kiss him. He kissed back and I ran my tongue along his bottom lip. He leaned towards me a bit more and I almost let him push me over, but remembered his marshmallow. I broke the kiss and his eyes went to the burning food. "Damn it."

"It's okay, sweetheart. We don't have to toast the marshmallows for the hot chocolate," I reassured him and kissed his cheek again quickly. "You get in the shower while I make our drinks, get ready for the cold, okay?"

"Okay!" He giggled and put the prod down. Before he could leave, I grabbed his hand and pulled him into my lap and hugged him tightly. "What happened to getting ready?"

"In a little bit, okay?" I hugged him a bit tighter and kissed the top of his head. "Just being here brings back so many memories."

"Yeah," He leaned into me. "Remember when Ida told us we were soul-mates?"

"I was so happy, I didn't know what I say," I recalled and laughed a bit, getting wrapped up in memories older than the time we had been living here. "Okay, okay, go get ready."

"See you in a bit," He kissed my cheek and went off into the bathroom. I headed to the kitchen and smiled as I started preparing the hot chocolate. It's crazy to think about how we got to this place, together, the way I always wanted it to be. I was so obsessed with Jack and while I still am, he's mine now and it's not creepy or anything like that.

I waited impatiently for Jack to email me. We had just been playing Prop Hunt again with Bob and Wade, Jack promising he'd send me his face-cam video and audio for me before either of us took off to do something else. I was excited for it, knowing I'd get to see how many times I made him smile. I always tried over-the-top to make him laugh whenever we made any collaboration videos, just so I could selfishly see his entire face light up.

It feels so long ago, I can't believe that same guy I tried so hard to make smile is now my husband and I get to see that smile every day for the rest of our lives. I smiled a bit, remembering my vows from the wedding. They were the same words I told Jack when I admitted I loved him.

"...I see the world behind those blue eyes, your smile lights up any darkness in the world, your laugh makes everything better, everything about you is all I've ever wanted. I love you in ways I never knew love existed."

Jack had melted at those words and I could see it in his eyes. I wanted to just kiss him then and there, but he had yet to say his. I remember waiting in anticipation as he said his vows. Defeating Dark wasn't the toughest thing I've ever done - not kissing Jack before we were supposed to was.

"My guardian, my love, my soon-to-be husband. I love you so much and I can't imagine my life without you. After everything we've been through, we still stick together like glue and you've proven you have my back while I have yours. You are my everything and I'm ready to be stuck with you forever. You're my soulmate, my one and only, and my best friend for life."

I could feel my heart racing when he spoke, his words too genuine for me to ignore. I had to play with my jacket a little to keep from jumping him right then and there in front of everyone. I finished making the hot chocolate and started putting a few marshmallows in the mugs as Jack came out of the bedroom, dressed for a cold day. I smiled at him as he sat at the table. I brought both our mugs over and sat next to him.

"You know how much I love you, Jack, right?" I asked and he smiled, rolling his eyes.

"Obviously," He giggled and I slid my chair closer to him. "Why? What's up?"

"Just making sure you know. I don't know what I'd do if you figured I wasn't enough and left me," I sighed at the thought, letting my paranoia get the best of me.

"Don't be silly, Mark. I'd never leave you. I love you more than I've ever loved anything. You're my whole world. I'd be an idiot to leave," He assured me and kissed me softly.

"You won't ever leave," I realized and he nodded. I grinned brightly and kissed him, ready to spend the first day of the rest of our lives together.
