"Looks like the bait worked, huh, Jackaboy?" Dark chuckled, gripping onto Jack tighter. I felt a tinge of anger bubbling up within me, it reminded me of the ping. It feels like forever since I've felt that. "Silly boy. You're lucky I don't plan on killing you. Mark, however..."

"Don't lay a single hand on him, you fucking cock snot!" Jack snapped at him.

"Cock snot?" I echoed, but was ignored by both my fiancé and the demon. "Jack, hold in there for just a few more minutes."

"You two idiots really think I didn't know Ida was coming? You think I'm afraid of some ancient, cum junkie, witch?" Dark laughed and I mouthed 'cum junkie', wondering what the fuck that even meant. Someone who's addicted to cum? "Enough with the chatter."

"Mark-" Jack tried to call to me, but Dark had used his demonic powers or some bullshit to swing open the nearest door and force Jack into that room, closing it, locking him inside, leaving just Dark and I once again.

"Like you said, I have to go through you first," He smirked and waved his hand, sending me crashing into the nearest wall, which was dangerously close to flames. This is way too similar to Supernatural. "I just have to get rid of you, probably kill Ida, hunt down that Felix friend of yours just for fun, and the best part is that Jack gets to enjoy every single moment of it."

"Typical villeins tend to say they'll kill the protagonist last," I noted and he smiled wickedly.

"I want Jack to be so hurt about your death that he won't even care about the witch and your friend," He said and I nodded, seeing headlights shine into the living room we were in, a car honking it's horn.

"Well, gotta blast!" I shouted while Dark was distracted by the car outside and went to the door Jack was behind, but it wouldn't open. Dark slammed me against it and looked pissed.

"You really think you can just get away like that?" He snapped and I shook my head.

"Not really," I admitted. "It was easier than I thought it'd be."

"What do you mean? You're not rescued, you didn't save Jack. You're going to die right here, right now," He sneered and I shook my head. He was about to add more when he crumpled to the floor. I grinned at Felix who had managed to grab the baseball bat and smack him with it, Ida by his side.

"Hit him a few more times, sweet baby," Ida told Felix, who gave her a strange look.

"Because we need to knock him out?" He guessed.

"No, because he deserves it," She said and Felix shrugged, hitting Dark again with the bat, making the demon groan. "Most demons wouldn't get knocked down so easily, but he only just became a true demon and his body is weak."

"What do we do now?" I asked, Felix hitting Dark with the bat again, making him pass out. The flames vanished and the door opened, Jack coming out and going to me with tears in his eyes. I hugged him tightly.

"We rid the world of Dark and send him back to hell," She smiled reassuringly, silently telling me that this is finally over - well, besides Eli. I'm not sure what we plan on doing with him or if he's going to die right after Dark leaves his body. The demon might be the only thing keeping the pitiful man alive. "No, Eli will not die."

"What will happen to him then?" Jack asked, pulling away from me. Ida must've read everyone's thoughts. I noticed Felix kept looking back to us, all of us craving a little reunion, but not having time to.

"He'll just be human. Dark healed the body well, but there's nothing unnatural about it, that's why it was growing weak. Dark could only survive wholly in Mark's body, he would have to leave eventually unless he went to see someone like me again," Ida explained. I was still extremely confused, but figured it didn't matter and didn't ask anymore questions.

"He'll be okay?" Jack asked, clearly still having a bit of a soft spot for him, which I also didn't understand, but didn't want to get in the way of. It wasn't my place to ask why he gives a shit about his crummy ex boyfriend. I was starting to like him a bit more after understanding why he acts the way he does, but he still hurt Jack and there's no changing that.

"Why do you care?" Felix pipped up, asking the question I wasn't going to ask.

"Felix, sweet baby, Eli is more complicated than you know. It's none of our places to say," Ida answered for Jack, clearly much to his relief.

"Oh," Was all Felix said and looked back at Dark. "How should we start?"

"Oh, you boys have been through enough," She chuckled a bit and went to hug Jack quick, then me. "You all deserve a break. I can handle getting rid of Dark on my own, all I ask is that you boys relax and go for a walk. Bring the dog with you, it'll help her calm down as well."

"Thank you so much, Ida. You guys came at the perfect time," I smiled and she just nodded, ushering us out of the cabin.

"You may want to stay in a hotel tonight as well, the cabin is in no condition to live in anymore," She sighed and Jack gave me a sorrowful look, he loved the cabin. It's going to be hard to find a place to live on such short notice.

"Thank you again," I said before she shooed us away. I wrapped an arm around Jack as we started to walk, Felix by our side, along with Chica. It felt great to finally be away from all this chaos. I can't believe we made it out in one piece. I can't wait to see what the future will hold.
