Ch 3: Pokerface

Abi's POV~

Well since Alexander already got my uniform and sign me up for me, I had nothing to do it was either play poker with Burr, Mulligan, Lafayette, and Alex but I know Alex would cheat and I don't even know these men so, I wouldn't know if they cheat or not, so I crossed that idea of my list, second choice is to explore New York City, well that seemed like a great idea I can meet people that go to Kings college, and of course see the guys at work....wait did I just say that out loud...oh it's just three girls.

Peggy's POV~

I went with my older sisters Angelica and Eliza, to apparently watch the guys at work, my sisters are so weird, sometimes I rather dodge a tomahawk (Anyone gets this?!?) then I see a girl in a green dress she looks intelligent like my sisters, so out of know where Angelica suddenly says...

Angelica's POV~

"ANGELICA." I say, then pretty much telepathically Eliza says "ELIZA." And wait Peggy is with us? "AND PEGGY." In unison we say "THE SCHUYLER SISTERS." Then I see a young woman talking to herself, then she notices my state and looks at me,

Abi's POV~

"Stop right there. I don't want to know your life and Etc., please don't be like my brother who writes essays, songs, letters about things such as turtles." (John Laurens anyone?!?) did I seriously say that at loud? I always say things I don't want other people to know, then the woman spoke "Angelica Schuyler, and my sisters Eliza and Peggy (slowly raises arms ready to dab) Schuyler." Where is my courtesy? "Hamilton, Abi Hamilton."

Angelica's POV~

Abi Hamilton. That's her name I know she'll look pretty in a gown, so I decide to invite her and whoever she wants to the Winters Ball, hosted by me, of course "I'm only giving this invitation not because your my friend, cause I need pretty girls like you to keep the men busy from me and my sisters, and you can invite whoever you want." Abi lit up "REALLY?! Oh thank you, you're too kind, you don't mind if invite my brother and four other men." This girl must of not heard me "Hun, you can invite anyone you want, except for people that might destroy my daddy's house, and crooks." Abi laughs at my comment, she has an adorable laugh and freckles, just like that John Laurens character, I wonder how her brother would look like?

Abi's POV~

Well I finally have some lady friends not just men I met at a tavern, I can't wait to tell Alex and the other men about the invitation I enter the tavern and I see the men still playing poker, it must be six in the afternoon, I wonder how long they've been playing? Well looks like everyone is a tad drunk, I can tell obviously at their slur in speech and the nonsense they're speaking, then Lafayette grabs my arm and asks me in his beautiful French accent "Mon ami where have you a been, your brother was worried...how you say? Sick about you." Why does Lafayette care if I was gone all morning and afternoon?, and why is he touching me? Lord these French are confusing, so I decided to talk to Alex about him being worried, "Alex you okay?" Not taking his eyes off his cards "wait...you were gone?" Wait not even Alex cared if I was gone then why did Lafayette tell me that then, this was a mystery for another time, "Alex...guess where we and all of you got invited to..." again Alex not caring "where?, in the Galápagos Islands." I was ready to strangle Alex "no Alexander, we're all of us got invited to the Schuyler Winters Ball."
Aaron choked "The Schuyler sisters." Gosh I'm so proud of myself "yes Mr. Burr, The Schuyler sisters."
