Amanda's POV
I was walking across a bridge when they was a minor earthquake, it didn't bother me "That was 6magnitude!" I heard a guy yell making me raise an eyebrow "There's gonna be a stronger one" he said, I looked over the edge and saw the bridge slightly cracking, my eyes widened "Everyone get off the bridge!" The guy yelled, everyone began to panic as the second earthquake hit, the barriers were coming up and I made my way behind them, I turned to watch everyone get off minus the guy who was carrying a kid, as he made his way to the side I was on a third earthquake.

His eyes widened before he threw the kid in the air and towards the edge as the bridge collapsed, my eyes widened as the kid narrowly missed the edge, I took my leather jacket off and jumped off the edge before opening my wings and flying towards the kid, I grabbed them before flying up in the air making everyone yell in surprise, I set them down and nodded before jumping down again to get the guy, I grabbed him just before he hit the water and took him up to the edge, his eyes widened as I set him down, I folded my wings back up and put my leather jacket back on.

I was tackled by a hug making me look down to see the kid who I saved, they pulled away smiling, "Thank you" they said making me nod and ruffle their hair, "No worries" I say, "He needs to be taken to a hospital!" A woman yelled, "Are you mad woman! He'll die before the ambulance gets here!" A man yelled at her, I turned around to see the guy had collapsed on the floor, I sighed and handed my jacket to the kid before pushing through the crowd and picking the guy up.

"What are you-?" "Saving him" I say cutting the woman off before I took off, I landed a block away from the hospital before folding my wings in and taking the guys jacket to cover them up before carrying him to the hospital.

I was sat in the chair next to his bed 'asleep' but I was really was getting a gob-full off the higher ups, 'What was you thinking?!' Erwin yelled, 'I saved his life!' I yelled back, 'Tch. And you compromised yourself, brat' Levi said, 'We're angels are we not? We prevent death if possible' I say getting irritated, 'We're angels, you're a fallen one' Nile said, 'Exactly! Which technically means I don't have to follow your angel rules' I yell, 'Listen here brat, you may have fallen-' 'Oh hush it shorty! I'm not an angel! Nile, himself said it so how about you guys leave me the f*ck alone!' I yell cutting him off, his face turned to thunder as he glared at me.

"Y-you?" I heard the guy say as I broke off from the higher ups, I opened my eyes and stretched, "What about me?" I asked sitting up, "You had wings. You saved me" he said, I nodded "I have wings and I did" I say standing up, "So what are you?" He asked, I raised an eyebrow "My name is Amanda Brecht and I'm a Fallen Angel" I say, his jaw dropped "Fallen Angel? Does that mean Angels are real?" He asked, I nodded "They are but they're all to the law and things" I say, his eyes widened "I'm Jean Kirstein, by the way" he said, I nodded "I know. Your Angel seemed pretty p*ssed that I saved you and he didn't" I say, "I have an Angel?" He asked, I sighed "How about I explain everything once you get out of here" I say before opening the door and mentioning for a nurse.

We arrived at mine after he got discharged, I took off his jacket and unfolded my wings, stretching them, he looked at them in awe before I put them away, "So back to our conversation, yes you have a Guardian Angel, his name is Marco or freckled Jesus as I called him" I say as I walked into the front room, "Marco...Hm. Who do you guard?" He asked and I froze, "Me? I don't guard anyone. Not since falling anyway" I say, he raised an eyebrow "You're the only Fallen angel, aren't you?" He asked, I turned to face him and nodded, "How did you fall?" He asked, I looked towards the floor, "I broke a law" I say, "Which one?" He asked, "I don't need to tell you. I only saved your life! Because it was an urge!" I yelled before taking off out of my window.

I had been a couple of weeks since I snapped at Jean, I have been keeping a close eye on Jean incase he thought about sharing my secret, I was sat in my house when a bright light appear and Erwin, Levi, Nile, Pixis and Marco stood there in their white suits and wings, I raised an eyebrow and stood up revealing my darker outfit; black vest top, ripped black jeans and grey combat boot, and my grey close to black, wings "What do you boys want?" I asked folding my arms.

"If it's not obvious Miss Brecht, we're here to-what do you call it-Ah kill you" Pixis said, I raised an eyebrow "Okay...Well let's see, you, Erwin and Nile are all 'Commanders' and prefer others doing your work. Marco couldn't hurt me even if he tried. Levi, however, you could inflict some damage" I say making all their eyes widened and Levi smirk, "Levi, you know what to do" Erwin said, "And my point is proven" I say dropping my arms to my side as he, Nile and Pixis left, "Your welcome, by the way Marco" I say as I closely watched Levi as he walked around me, "For what?" He asked, "Saving Jean" I say before Levi came to attack me.

I kicked Levi to the floor, he got up and pulled out, an Angel Blade, a dagger that could kill me for good, my eyes widened as he swung at me, I jumped backwards only to have it slice my stomach making me hiss, he kicked me down before cutting into my arms and legs before standing up and putting the blade away, "Shame you couldn't stick to the laws. You're a good fighter" he said before disappearing, knowing that I would bleed out since the wounds won't self-heal if it were done by the Angel Blade.

I sat myself up against the wall, I heard a thud and I looked over to see Jean coming over to me, "Amanda!? What happened?!" He asked as he looked at my cuts, "Jean, please leave" I say, I noticed Marco peek around the corner, "The higher ups! They did this to you didn't they!" He yelled, I raised an eyebrow "Done some research?" I asked, he nodded before tensing up as Marco crouched on the other side of me, "Marco-" "Shush" he said cutting me off, "Marco? My guardian angel?" Jean asked, I nodded "Nice to meet you, Jean" he said, "You'll fall for this Marco" I say, he shrugged.

"At least you won't be alone" he smiled holding his hands above my cuts, a light glow came out of them and the cuts healed but left a scar, I smiled at him before he and Jean helped me up, I frowned as Marco's wings faded to light grey and his white suit turned black before I went unconscious.

'Amanda?' 'Why'd you do it, Marco?' I asked, he looked at the floor 'We prevent death if possible' he said, I gave him a hug 'Thank you' I whispered before I shot up from my unconscious state, "Easy" Jean said as he held my shoulder, I sighed "Where's Marco?" I asked, "He's on the balcony" he said before silence fell on us, "The law you broke...What was it?" He asked, "I showed myself to the person I was guarding. It's the biggest law, never show yourself" I say, "What happened to your person?" He asked, "Her name was Carla Jaeger. The higher ups killed her, making it look like an accident obviously, it almost kill her son but I saved him. Sadly I couldn't save her adoptive daughter, who's now his guardian Angel" I explained.

His eyes widened, "Eren Jaeger?" He asked, I nodded "You know him?" I asked, he nodded "Answer me this; why did you come here?" I asked, "I wanted to apologise for questioning you" he said looking at the floor, I smiled and sat up, putting my legs over the edge of the bed before grabbing his chin making him look at me, "I should be apologising for my outburst, you was simply curious" I say, he smiled before he began to lean in, he kissed me making me freeze before kissing him back.
