Elise's POV
"Elise!" Horace, my 'boss', yelled waking me up, I stood up "It's time to move" he said, I nodded and followed his pursuit, "I need you to use your skill to make sure no one sees us" he said, I sighed "Pallium" I say cloaking us all, we walked through the streets, one of the men was killed making us move faster to the new location, Horace threw me to the floor "Useless piece of sh*t!" He yelled landing a kick in my stomach.

"I said to cover us all! Now because of you, Liam's dead!" He yelled before locking me in the room, I sighed and lifted my rag of a shirt up "Curare" I muttered making the new forming bruise go away, I put my shirt down before resting my head on my knees staring at nothing.

*Flashback*
"Elise come here" Mother said, I went over to her side and she put me behind her, I looked up to see a group of men standing where I was playing, "Hello Laura, Elise" one of the men said as they came towards us, "What do you want Horace!?" Mother yelled, "I've come to tell you that Daniel was killed" Horace said, mother fell to her knees crying, "Mother?" I asked, she looked towards me and gave me a hug, "Run and hide, Elise" she whispered before pulling away and standing up, "Dolor" She said and two men at the side of Horace screamed in pain, I ran and hid behind some crates, watching the scene unravel, "That's not nice Laura" Horace said before a quick slice and my mother fell to the floor, my eyes widened before running out of my cover and over to her, "Praesidium" she whispered.
*End of Flashback*

"Elise! Help me!" Horace yelled as he came into the room in a panic, I stood up and tilted my head "They're men trying to kill me, trying to kill you" he said before the door burst open revealing two young men, "Give up, you've got nothing on us" the taller one of the men said as they came into the room, I looked between them and Horace, who was silently begging me to save him, "Cultello incide" I muttered and a large cut appeared on Horace's chest.

He fell at my feet, "Why?" He asked, I stayed quiet and stared at him as he bled out, I watched the light fade from his eyes making me sigh before looking at the two young men who looked at me in fear, I walked past them and left the building, "Pallium" I say before walking through the streets to another building, I entered and uncovered myself before I heard sobbing, I frowned before following the noise and finding a woman crying over a child's body, I went over to her and placed my hand on her shoulder making her jump and look at me.

"What do you want?!" She yelled, I looked towards the child to find it looking extremely sick, I crouched down to the side of it before placing my hand on it's head and chest, "Tueri et sanabit" I say before standing up, the child sat up looking healthy as ever making the woman cry out of joy, I went to leave but she grabbed my hand making me stop, "Thank you" she said, I nodded.

I was sat on a wall minding my own business when a red haired girl bumped into me making her tumble, I raised an eyebrow and helped her up, "Sorry!" She said, I looked at the bird in her hand making me frown, "There!" I heard a man yell making the red haired girl's eyes widened before she ran away, "You!" A man yelled before grabbing my face, "Keep her. We can use her" he said before throwing me into the group of men, they grabbed me before dragging me in the direction of the red haired girl, "Found her!" A man said before I was thrown against the wall.

I got up and glared at the men, "Dolor" I say before they yelled out in pain, "What the-Witch!" The 'leader' yelled before slamming my head against the wall.

I opened my eyes and looked around, I saw the red haired girl with two young men in the corner of the room, I sat up holding my head "She's awake!" The girl yelled as she ran over to me, "Hiya I'm Isabel Magnolia!" She yelled, I nodded "Not much of a talker are you?" She said, I shrugged "Isabel, give her some space" one of the men said, she sighed and went away from me, "Where have I seen you before?" The same man said as he sat across from me, I looked closer at him and I dawned upon me, "You came to kill Horace" I say, his eyes widened as I spoke, "So you can speak" he said, "Everyone can speak, I choose who I speak to, who I can trust" I say, he nodded in a understanding matter.

"I'm Furlan Church, the other guy is Levi" he said, I nodded "Elise Hiller" I say before getting up and going to leave, "Where are you going?" Levi asked, I raised an eyebrow turning around to face them, "I'm leaving" I say, they all frowned, "Why?" Isabel asked, "Because no one wants a witch in the house and the people who do use them" I say, "Will we see you again?!" Isabel yelled, I shrugged "Possibly" I smirked before leaving.

"Elise, I've got a message from Furlan" a kid said, I smiled Furlan's been giving me messages on where they going as they did their 'jobs' and I made sure they got out without any troubles, the kid told me the message before running away, I made my way to where they were, they were being held by a group of men and a couple of women, Furlan saw me and smirked, I winked "Pallium" I say making the three of them go invisible "What! Where they go?!" One of them yelled, I walked closer "I believe I can be to blame for that" I say making them all turn to me.

"You're the witch Horace had!" A man yelled, "Suffocant" I growled and he grabbed at his throat as he desperately tried to intake air, "Cogita" Someone said and I gasped for air as the man stood up and smiled towards a woman, I turned my head to her as the man came over to me, he grabbed my face and inspected me "Such a waste" he said before letting go of me and nodded towards the other witch, "Vinculum" I muttered, "Dolor" she said and the man fell to his knees screaming making me smirk "Caedes" I say and everyone minus the other witch dropped dead.

Her eyes widened in horror, "What's your name?" I asked, she didn't reply making me roll my eyes "Suffocant" I say and she fell to her knees gasping for air, "Elise stop!" Furlan yelled, "Stay out of this!" I yell, the other witch tried to say something so I stopped the spell, "Elise Miller?" She said, I raised an eyebrow "Who's asking?" I asked, "I'm sorry" she said before collapsing to the floor, I noticed a mark on her arm making me pull up her sleeve, my eyes widened "What is it?" Furlan asked, "She was apart of my coven" I say standing up.

"I'm sorry" he said, I turned to him "Don't be. I killed her not you" I say, "But if I didn't tell you I was here-" "You would of been killed" I cut him, he raised an eyebrow "You care if we die?" He asked, I nodded "I can't let people I care about die, if I can prevent it" I say, he nodded in an understanding matter, silence fell upon us "Well, I better get going" he said breaking it and going to leave, I rolled my eyes before grabbing his arm and kissing him which he immediately returned, I smirked and pulled away, "Or you could do what you planned on doing" I say, his eyes widened "You read my mind!?" He asked, I shrugged "Kind of hard not to since you were basically yelling your thoughts" I say chuckling.
