Penelope's POV
I heard the bells signalling that the Scouting Legion was returning meaning that Petra was back, I smiled and ran to the streets, I couldn't see through the crowds so I climbed on top of a roof, I saw Captain Levi but none of his squad, I searched frantically through the returning soldiers but couldn't see her, my eyes widened as I saw my father talking to Levi when he froze in place, I jumped down off the roof and ran over to him.

Tears were streaming down his face, "Dad?" I asked, he looked to me and completely broke down, collapsing to his knees, "She's gone" he muttered, my face fell as placed a hand on my dad's shoulder giving it a squeeze, "Let's go" I say helping him up, I basically carried him home and sat him in the kitchen where he broke the news to the family.

I went up into our room, I looked towards her side and felt tears prick at my eyes.

*Flashback*
"Penelope! You're stuff's on my side!" Petra whined as she entered our room, I sighed and moved my stuff back on to mine, "Happy?" I asked, she nodded and sat across from me, "I'm joining the Survey Corps" she said, I looked up at her "You're leaving me" I say, "No, I would never leave you. You're my twin" she said hugging me, "My other half" I say as I pulled away, she smiled and nodded.
*End of Flashback*

I looked towards my handmade target board, the centre of it full of knives, I pulled them all out, Petra was more of 'girly' girl but if a fight was needed she would do it, I was a 'tomboy'.

*Flashback*
I threw a knife into the target board hitting the centre ring "Must you do that?" Petra asked from her bed, "Yes. You protect the family by going outside the wall fighting against the Titans. I protecting them if anyone tries to hurt them while you're gone" I say, she smiled "Can I have ago?" She asked, I nodded as I pulled out the knives and handed her one, she threw it and it lodge it into the outer ring, "I thought the Survey Corps had good aiming" I teased as I threw on in and lodged it into the centre, I handed her another, "Make your movements swifter and aim higher than the centre" I say, she nodded and threw it, it lodge itself into the edge of the centre ring, she cheered making me smile.
*End of Flashback*

I threw the knife into the board, hitting the centre, I pulled it and looked out my window to see the sun setting, I still heard the sobs of the family downstairs, I sighed before opening my window and climbing out, I went to a field which had 'my' horse in, Trig, I whistled and he came galloping over, "Hiya boy" I say stroking him.

*Flashback*
I was stroking a horse as he ate an apple from my hand, "I'll call you Trig" I say, he lifted his head and rubbed it against my back making me laugh, "So this is where you come" Petra said as she came up to us, Trig trotted off, "You know he's not yours" she said, I nodded "I know but I've been training him. Watch" I say before whistling and he galloped back over, he stopped and I got on to him before holding my hand out to Petra, she smiled and took it as I pulled her on to him, "Hold tight" I say before kicking him to set off.
*End of Flashback*

I climbed on to him and kicked him to set off, we rode around in the field for a while before I jumped him over the fence and made my way to the Survey Corps HQ.
