Halley's POV
"New school. New you right?" My Aunt Clara asked as she drove me to school, I shrugged "Depends" I say, "What does it depend on? If you actually allowed people close to you maybe you wouldn't get in a fight everyday first day you have" she snapped, "Fine, I'll try" I say as she pulled up outside the reception, "I do try my hardest, Halley" she said, I nodded "I know and I appreciate that you took me" I say getting out, she smiled at me "Have fun" she said, I nodded and closed the door before she drove away.

I walked into the reception, "Hi! What can I do for you?" The receptionist ask as I walked up to the desk, "My name's Halley Beane, the new student" I say, she nodded before going into the back, she came back with my timetable and locker code, "Your locker number is 6011" she said, I nodded "Thanks" I say taking the code and timetable before walking through the crowded hall.

I had been at this school for a month which is a record and Maths, my first lesson on a goddamn Monday, I walked in and sat in my usual spot, it was a couple of minutes before the bell so I rested my head on the desk, footsteps approached me and someone sat down on my right, probably Jean.

Another set of footsteps approached me, making me raise an eyebrow as I lifted my head to see a buff blonde guy, "Can I help you?" I asked, "Your in my seat" he said, "Funny because this is my seat" I say standing up, "Who the hell is this Kirstein?" He asked looking towards Jean.

"This is Halley Beane, she's been here a month" he said, the blonde looked at me before grabbing my jumper and pulling me closer to him, "Let me tell you this, that is my seat. I've sat their since the beginning of the year" he growled, I sighed "Fine have your seat" I say, he let go of me and I stepped out of the way.

He came around and sat in it, so I slammed his head into the desk, "Touch me again and you'll end up worse" I say as the bell rang, I sat on the other side of Jean.

Lunch, I sat at the usual table with Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Sasha, Connie, Krista, Ymir, Jean and Annie, "A horse told me that you picked a fight with Reiner Braun" Eren said, I looked towards Jean raising an eyebrow "You told?" I asked, he didn't reply but his face did drop when someone came up behind me, I was pulled from my chair and thrown to the floor, I looked up to see Reiner and his tall sweaty buddy.

I got up, "I'm guessing you're wanting worse" I say before they charged at me, I pushed the tall one aside before punching Reiner in the face and kicking him away before turning around and put the tall one on his back, when Reiner landed a punch on my jaw making me stumble, I was tripped up making my head slam off the floor making me groan before I swinging my legs underneath them both to put them on their backs.

I got up and grabbed Reiner's neck and picked him up, "I did warn you, so you speak a word and you'll end up in a coffin. Understood?" I growled, his eyes widened and nodded before I dropped him, grabbing my bag and storming out of the dining hall.

My phone began to ring so I looked at it 'Aunt C' I sighed and answered, "Hey" I answered, "Don't hey me Halley! You said you wouldn't get into any fights because you liked this school!" She yelled down the phone, I held it at a distance from my ear, "Auntie Clara, the guy started it first. I simply put him in his place. Plus I've got a bruising jaw which kills" I say, I heard her sigh.

"Where are you? I'll come get you" she said, someone tapped my shoulder making me turn around, "Do you need a lift?" Jean asked, I smiled and nodded "It doesn't matter Clara. Jean's giving me a lift" I say, "Jean? Who's Jean?!" She yelled, I chuckled "He's a friend. I'll be home soon" I say before hanging up.

I followed him to his car and got in, "So where we going?" He asked, "845 Maria Road" I say, he nodded and started the engine, "Your quite the fighter" he said as we drove down the main road, I shrugged "Always have been, I guess" I say as we pulled on to my road, "So I'm guessing you already know that Reiner told" he said, I nodded "Should I not be excluded, I will be when I kill him" I say.

He chuckled as we pulled up outside my house, "Would you like to come in?" I asked, he raised an eyebrow "You don't have to. Just thought you'd like something to eat or-" "I'd love to come in" he said cutting me off, I nodded and got out, he got out and locked it before joining me as I walked inside, I closed the door behind him.

"Aunt Clara! I'm home!" I yell as I dumped my bag on the floor as she came around the corner, "You must be Jean" she said holding out her hand, he nodded "Nice to meet you" he said shaking her hand, I rolled my eyes "So what do you want? Food? Drink?" I ask as I walked into the kitchen, "Water" he said, I got him some and got myself a large bag of crisps before leading him upstairs.

I walked into my room and threw the crisps on the bed before handing him his water, "Thanks" he said taking a sip, silence fell between us, "If you don't mind me asking, why do you-" "Live with my Aunt?" I finished off, he nodded "Parents left me and got in a car crash. I could of died should she not of come to the house" I say, he set his water down.

"Sorry" he said, I waved it off "I'm over it" I say, sitting on my bed and opening the crisps, I offered him one, which he took as he sat next to me, his phone began to ring he looked at it before ignoring it "Not important?" I asked looking at him, he shook his head "Only Jaeger" he said, I nodded "Wait, don't you have training?" I asked, he nodded.

"Let's go" I say grabbing his hand and going downstairs and out to the car, he set off "Your not coming to kill Reiner, are you?" He asked, "I was actually coming to watch you but now I know he's there maybe I'll kill him" I say, "You was coming to watch me?" He asked, I nodded "Yeah, is that a problem?" I asked, he shook his head and smiled "Not at all" he said as we arrived at the field.

We got out and my eyes fell upon Reiner and Bertholdt, I growled going towards them before someone grabbed my hand pulling me backwards, "Ignore them. They'll get what's coming to them" Jean whispered, I raised an eyebrow and turned around to face him to find him smirking, I smirked before noticing him leaning in, I met him half way making him smile into it.
