Vanessa's POV
We was on an expedition and I was with Erwin, Mike and Nanaba, like normal however I was carrying an extra person with us, I'm 3months pregnant and haven't told Erwin due to him since I'm afraid of what he will say/do, I sighed "V?" Mike asked, I turned my head towards him and gave a weak smiled then a wave of nausea hit me, I jumped off my horse and threw up, someone rubbed my back as I threw up my guts.

I sighed and wiped my mouth before standing up and seeing Erwin's worried face, "That's the fifth time you've been sick. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, I looked down at the floor and sighed "Vanessa?" He asked, "Just please don't leave me" I say lifting my head, he pulled me into a hug "I would never leave you" he whispered, "What if I told you that I was 3months pregnant?" I say pulling away, shock covered all three of their faces.

"Erwin-" "Nanaba, Mike pass the message on that we're to regroup" Erwin said cutting me off, they both nodded before going separate directions, Erwin got on his horse and I followed his pursuit, I was looking down at my hands as tears filled my eyes, I silently cried as we regrouped, I was sat on a stone stroking my horse, Trip, "V?" Mike said making my head shoot up.

He sighed and stood me up before hugging me as I broke down, "He hates me" I sobbed, he pulled away and looked me dead in the eye, "Don't you dare think that" he growled wiping my tears away, "Vanessa, you're his wife. He could never possibly hate you. He's probably just a little shell shocked from your announcement" he said, I sighed and nodded before frowning as he pulled out his blades and put me behind him.

"Run" he said, "I'm not leaving you" I say before pulling my own blades out as two 15metre Titans came out of the trees, I grappled on to the tree before taking off closely followed by Mike, we easily killed them and was making our way back to the group, who were preparing to leave, Nanaba approached us "Where was you? Erwin's gone looking for you" she said, my eyes widened "Lead the squad back to the wall. I'll go after Erwin" I ordered, "But V-" "No buts. Do it" I say cutting Mike off before taking off to find Erwin.

I had been looking for him, for a solid twenty minutes, I heard thudding behind me so I turned around to see an abnormal heading directly at me, it hit Trip from underneath me sending me into the air, I wrapped my arms around my stomach before rolling on the floor, the abnormal came over to me before picking me up pinning my hands to my stomach, my eyes widened as I was lifted up to the Titans mouth before they was a yell and the Titans arm that had me was slice off making me drop.

I looked up to see the Titan fall as Erwin landed in front of me and helped me up before pulling me in for a hug and kissed my forehead, "I almost lost you both" he whispered as he pulled away, I looked up at him to see tears in his eyes, "You was crazy enough to go out on your own" I say holding his face, "I came looking for you" he said, "Mike was with me. I was perfectly fine, until we returned and Nanaba told me that you left to find me. I came looking for you" I say, he sighed and rested his forehead against mine, "I'm just glad I got to you both in time" he said before kissing me.

After that expedition I was not aloud on anymore until I had given birth and recovered fully, I had given birth to healthy baby girl 7months ago, who we named Lucinda Maria Smith, "Mama!" Lucinda yelled as she was sat on the floor playing with her teddy while I eased myself back into the paperwork, "What Lu?" I asked as I stood up and went over to her, she held up her arms mentioning me to pick her up, I did so and placed her on my hip as I got her teddy.

"See Daddy" she said, "Daddy's working" I say, she pouted and crossed her arms, "To say she's only 7months old, she's got an attitude like her mother" Levi said from my door, I smiled "Wevi!" Lucinda yelled as she held out her hands towards him making me chuckle before I passed her to him, safe to say that she's got everyone here wrapped around her finger, especially her father and Levi.

"I heard that your mummy won't let you see daddy. Isn't she mean?" Levi said making me give him a playful glare, she nodded "Mummy's mean" she said and I acted hurt, "Well how about you hang around with me until your daddy's free?" He asked, Lucinda looked at me with pleading eyes, I sighed "Fine but if she ends up hurt, I'll hunt you down Rivaille" I threaten, he nodded as Lucinda cheered as they left.

I finally finished my paperwork and was taking them to Erwin's office, I knocked on his door but no one answered so I sighed and opened it myself to see Erwin asleep in his chair with Lucinda on his chest, I smiled before setting my paperwork down and taking Lucinda off him which woke him up, "Vanessa?" He asked as he stood up and stretch, I smiled as he leaned down for a kiss, "My paperworks done" I say as I broke away, he smiled "Well let's get to bed. I'm exhausted" he said.

I chuckled as we walked to our room, "I'm not surprised, Lucinda has you and Levi wrapped around her pinky" I say, "Does not" he said, I raised an eyebrow "Really? She's definitely a daddy's girl" I say as I laid her in her crib, he pulled me on to the bed and hovered over me, "Pretty sure, I'm wrapped around yours more" he said making me smirk before he crashed his lips on to mine.
