Rosabella's POV
*Flashback*
I stood in the locker room of the swimming pool, "Rosabella?" I heard my teammate and friend, Marco ask, I turned around giving him a smile, he came over and gave me a hug, "You'll smash it" he said, I pulled away and nodded before sighing and leaving the locker room.
*End of Flashback*

I made my way to the pool for the race, "Come on Rosabella!" I heard Krista yelled, I stood on my podium and looked to my left to see my competitors, my eyes widened as I saw Marco next to me, "Nice to see you again Rosabella" he smirked as he put on his goggles, "See you at the finish line" he said, I narrowed my eyes at him before turning my attention back to the pool.

Krista's POV
Myself, Annie, Armin, Eren and Mikasa were stood in the stands waiting for Rosabella to come out, "Well I never" someone said from our left, we all turned to see Ymir, Reiner, Bertholdt, Jean, Connie and Sasha stood there, "What are you doing here?" Eren spat, "We're here to watch Marco win obviously" Jean said making my eyes widened as I saw Marco and Rosabella walking over to their podiums, "Come on Rosabella!" I yelled making Marco's team chuckle.

They all bent down preparing to set off, the gun was fired and Rosabella easily got ahead of the others, she made it to the other end before turning around and heading back towards the podium, Marco was not far behind her but she slowed down allowing him to win, I gasped "She let him win" Armin whispered, we all looked at each other with wide eyes before turning back to the pool seeing Marco celebrating.

Rosabella's POV
I watched Marco celebrate his victory, that I gave him I smirked before climbing out and looking down at him "Hey Marco" I say stopping him from celebrating, "Don't celebrate to much. I handed you that victory" I say making his face hardened before I left for the locker rooms, I was met by the team, Krista and Mikasa, "You gave him the win!" Eren yelled, I sighed "So what if I did? We're still winning" I say as I dried my hair.

I was pinned against the lockers, I glared at Marco who was seething with anger, I smirked "What's wrong Marco? Want a rematch?" I asked, he punched the locker next to my head "Why did you let me win?!" He yelled, "I wanted to make you feel special. Like you could actually beat me" I laughed pushing him away from me, his eyes widened "Prepare for me to beat you fair and square in the relay" he said before storming out, "I'll look forward to it!" I yelled after him.

I turned to the team, "Armin, you're the first leg, Eren you're second, Annie you're third, I've got the last" I say as we walked out of the locker room, we went towards the other teams as Mikasa and Krista went to the stands, "Marco, your mad!" I heard Sasha yell as his team came over, I looked upon the team to see that they had Ymir first leg, Jean second leg, Sasha third and Marco last, I smirked before we walked out to the podiums, I stood behind Eren as Armin and Annie went around the other side, to our left was Jean and Marco, "Well Jaeger, I hope you'll enjoy seeing the splashes, I leave" Jean said.

"Bring it Horseface" Eren said as he got on the podium, the gun was let off and Armin dove into the water as did Ymir, Ymir got to our side first making Jean set off, Armin arrived seconds later making Eren set off catching up to Jean, I pulled Armin out before standing on the podium, I saw Sasha dive in closely followed by Annie, they were neck and neck as they swam towards us, Annie reached me and I dove in before speeding away from Marco, I got to the other side and Eren cheered making me sigh in relief Marco arrived next to me and looked out of breath and defeated.

I got out before holding my hand out to Marco, "Maybe next time" I say, he smiled and accepted my hand as I pulled him out before walking to the locker rooms to change, "Rosabella!" I heard Armin yell making me turn around colliding with a group hug, I smiled and hugged back, "That was faster than normal" Eren said as we pulled away, "Was you that dedicated to win?" Annie asked, I shrugged "A little" I say, she smirked as she looked behind me to see Marco with his head in his hands.

"I'll catch up with you guys" I say, they nodded before leaving to meet the others, I approached Marco "Hey" I say, he raised his head "Hi" he said, I sighed "You're not mad that we won are you?" I asked, he shook his head, "No, it's what you said to me before the relay" he said, I nodded "Did you let me win when we was kids?" He asked standing up, I avoided his gaze and nodded, "So I've been bragging saying I was the best when I really wasn't" he said before kicking his bag, I snapped my head towards him.

"You're not the worse, Marco"
I say, "You're just saying that to make me feel better" he said, I grabbed his face making him look me in the eyes, "I'm not saying it to make you feel better. I'm telling you the truth because you're my friend Marco" I say, he smiled before pulling me closer and kissing me, my eyes widened before kissing him back.
