Chapter 15

[Untitled : Chapter 15]

After receiving the call from Matthew, Kyle drove to the destination as instructed.

He was aware that the agents were tracking behind him to make sure he was safe.

Soon, he reached the old warehouse as the police had told them.

"I told you to come alone, but you didn't you are going to regret." He was greeted by the sentence and he could sensed the fear Matthew had.

"Come in and turn left." He instructed and Kyle followed.

In the meantime when Matthew found out Kyle came with the agents he decided to use his backup plan.

"Nick take Amanda away and hide." He instructed.

Amanda followed Nick and hoped her father will be all right.

She heard the sound of footsteps and it was her father carrying a bag filled with ransom as she assumed.

"Matthew, I knew it was you." Kyle said.

"Glad to see you again, if you didn't snatched everything of mine, I will not ended up like this." Matthew said with anger.

"Did you bring the money?" He asked.

"Yes, here." Kyle pointed to the bag.

As Kyle dropped the bag, Matthew saw the agents approaching.

"You lied and this is what you will get." Matthew held up his gun and pointed at Kyle.

Amanda gasped as she saw that coming, she pulled out of Nick's loose grip and ran towards her father.

"Bang."

Amanda was lying in front of his father with fresh blood oozing out of her.

"Amanda!" Kyle shouted at his daughter as he kneaded beside her and assured her she will be fine.

Matthew and Nick took the bag of ransom and fled away.

The agents came in and reported to the police and finally Amanda's vision went blurred as her eyes felt heavy.

"Beep...beep...beep."

Jessica rushed to the hospital as soon as she heard the bad news.

She cried as she saw her daughter lying on the hospital bad in coma state. The doctor have saved Amanda from the danger but now they do not know when she will wake up from coma.

"She will be all right, our daughter is strong and she will wake up soon." Kyle assured her.

Amanda's clique had came to visit her and Brittany and Kenneth had came too.

After one week, Amanda was transferred to another private ward and visitors were allowed there.

Brittany looked at the girl she was envied since the day she saw her in the team, tears welled up her eyes as she felt how bad she had treated her in the past.

"Amanda, if you don't wake up soon I will hate you, you know? I really like you, you are an awesome friend and I'm not losing you that soon because I just realized how great you had been. Quick wake up! Wake up! You are not giving up right? I had saved you once too so you have to wake up." Brittany whispered.

"Am, stop sleeping, you are worrying everyone here. You are a good girl and everything will be fine, quick wake up, I have a lot of thing to tell you. Felix and I are back together because of your help so you are not going to dump us alone. You had so many things to do, so stop sleeping lazy bum and get up soon when you are feeling better all right?" Natalie was sobbing to see her friend looking like a piece of breakable glass.

Kenneth came everyday to visit her and hope she could wake up soon. As days approached, he had to join the Navy Academy, he wrote a note to Amanda hoping she could see it when she wake up.

I hope you are getting better, I'm at the Navy Academy so I cannot see you soon, but when I'm free I come back and visit you. Stay strong okay? miss you <3
