A "Human" That Likes A Skeleton

Talking With Sans

as you walked away from the park you thought about what you had done, while everyone else talked about this and that, you knew that you had taught your siblings that violence was never an answer to anything, but you just had to remember the words that man had said and you could feel the boiling anger well up inside of your very soul again, even still, you couldn't brush off the feeling of dread welling up inside of you.

by the obvious signs of recording you knew it was a good possibility that multiple videos of your little 'speech' would be put up on the internet, but you found that you didn't really care, someone had to place a firm hold on the monsters and apparently for now that person was you.

as you came to a cross roads (one leading to Ruins Road, the other leading into Snowdin Drive) toriel turned to you "y/n, i understand that you did that for the monsters but why?" you smiled and looked up at the kind mother-like monster

"because someone had too, and i'm not waiting for some human to walk up and decide halfheartedly that they're for the monsters" toriel seemed slightly taken aback at your sudden answer,

but non-of-the-less she smiled and took frisk's hand in her paw "well, it is nice to know that someone is taking action" Elijah smirked "it's not just one toriel, it's all four of us" frisk beamed and waved goodbye to rose, she waved back and toriel said "we should do this again sometime, maybe with everyone" you nodded and agreed, as toriel lead frisk down Ruins Road, you lead your muskets down Snowdin Drive, and towards the skele-bros house

as you were walking you caught a glimpse of a bar/grill place the neon letters above the front doors spelling 'Grillby's' it looked kinda new and by the slight noise from inside you guessed it was also occupied, your siblings looked at the restaurant, the at you, you chuckled but shook your head

"you already ate, maybe another day, alright?" rose nodded and skipped ahead, the skele-bros. house came into view and you smiled, when you came to the front door you were expecting sans to not have moved from the couch, to find everything like you left...but what you didn't expect was tomato sauce all over the walls, ceiling, and a bit on the floor, sans gone from the couch, and yelling coming from the kitchen

you sighed inwardly knowing that you might be the one to clean it up but for now you just wanna sit down, and relax, though, you knew, that possibly wouldn't happen down here so you you walked up the stairs into your own room the muskets too stunned to follow

as you walked into the hallway to your room, your mind decided to replay what happened and you mentally slapped yourself, the words the man said making you seethe, and you found yourself hoping that your siblings would understand, since when you had told them the story of the monsters long ago, you spoke it with a certain sadness, and as you opened your door you heard laughter in the kitchen below you a lot of it sounding like 'nyeh heh heh' and the other 'fuhuhuhu'

taking off your shoes you climbed on top of your bed and had leaned against the bed frame when a knock came from the other side of your door, smiling to yourself you said "who's there?" you heard a chuckle and a baritone voice answered "orange" you chuckled as well, already knowing who this was "orange who?" you've already heard of this one "orange you gonna let me in?" you laughed, and when you heard an annoyed 'NYEH' come from downstairs you laughed a little harder and your door opened to let in sans who looked proud of his joke

when you calmed down from your laughing fit sans sat down at the edge of your bed

"so, what happened while you were out and about?"

you smiled and told sans about your day so far, when you ended the part with your speech sans raised a hand up to say something

"you actually said that?" you chuckled "of course i said it, what, you think that you're the only one fighting?" sans shook his head chuckling "no... i just didn't think-" sans stopped when he saw your face, your expression held a raised eyebrow and a 'go on' smile.

"-that you would think that way" you rolled your eyes "sans, remember the first day we met i said i was interested in monsters?" sans nodded, you grinned "well then you really shouldn't be surprised, i'm standing for the monsters, and now, i think more people are as well" sans nodded and smiled "guess you really are all for the monsters huh?" you sighed rolling your eyes again.

"of course sans, otherwise i wouldn't have made that speech thing"

you smirked, and thought just briefly of telling him about Dreamland, why not? "hey sans?" sans looked at you "what do you know about the void?" sans looked questionably at you then proceeded to answer "uh, it's a expanse of, well, nothing. everything that goes in there ever comes out" you smiled "well, yeah, everything but one" sans looked confused "what? how do you know?" you chuckled nervously

"well, cause that one thing is me, i've been into the void and back multiple times" sans seemed shocked "how?!" you shrugged "i don't know but i've met some people there, your dad, for one" sans froze

"my dad is dead" you smiled "no he isn't sans, he's just stuck" sans had an unbelieving expression and he started to ask questions, you put your hand on his teeth(?) and smiled "sans, please slow down, i'll explain"

you started to explain that ever since the jabberjay incident you've been going to his father and chara, when you included chara, sans visibly froze, and you had to explain that chara's soul was covered in a black substance which he identified as hate, you had no idea why he thought if it like that, as you and chara referred it to 'The Shadows' but to each their own i guess...

when you continued with your plan to get them out of there sans stopped you "wait...let me get this straight, you're gonna get them out?" you chuckled "of course sans, honestly, who do you take me for?" sans just smiled bigger then normal and you finished retelling the events, when you did sans changed the topic and had a normal conversation.

throwing some puns here and there, you found out that other then making puns and jokes, he really loves his brother, and ketchup....can't forget the ketchup
