A "Human" That Likes A Skeleton

A Christmas Mistletoe

after you were done with your shift at the nice cream parlor you walked back towards the skele-bros. house you wondered if papyrus and sans would let you stay since you no longer had the apartment, you sighed and dreaded the day you would have to tell your muskets that you didn't have the apartment anymore, at least you have most of your belongings at the skele-bros. house anyway, 

while you were walking you saw parents in the park with their children playing happily, and you saw couples on a park bench talking, you smiled ruefully and shook you head and kept walking but memories came forward and started playing,

 you were 5 and your mom was pushing you on the swing, your dad was tickling you to bed, and both of them kissing you good night, tears came to your eyes as the happy memories faded to the resentful ones,

 your 'dad' becoming distant from your family, you turning into a cowl, you seeing your mom and dad beating your siblings, you protecting your little siblings from the heavy blows of your mom and dad as you remembered the good times you had with them, your heart becoming hard as you had to become protective, 

that last one made you close your eyes and sigh as you thought about the good and bad times of your life, and it seemed the bad outnumbered the good 10 to 1,until, a memory came up, it was when you were walking back to your apartment and you crashed into sans, when he offered to help you, when he showed you kindness, 

it was the first time in 7 years that someone other than your siblings and your bosses showed kindness and mercy, you looked up as you thought about the memories you had made since you bumped into sans, gaster, pap, frisk, undyne, alphys, mettaton, napstablook, chara, toriel, asriel, asgore, sans, you smiled and thought you had more happy memories than before 

you took a deep breath and put a contented smile on your lips, when you reached the house you could hear giggles and laughter your smile grew and you knocked and waited for someone to open the door, the giggles grew quieter and chara opened the door and a gigantic smile spread across her face, she hugged you and you hugged her back,

 but while doing something she didn't expect, you picked her up and strolled in chara letting out a surprised "ahh!" you smiled and closed the door and sat down on the couch and soon all six muskets climbed on you, mom laughed a little as you spread your arms to include everyone you nestled into them and said 

"they're mine now" mom smiled and went into the kitchen after getting some bags by the front door and you were too busy snuggling with the muskets to realize that mom was smiling as she thought up a plan...

you had tore yourself away from the muskets grasp and were now helping around the kitchen you had received a text from pap that there would be a christmas dinner party at their house and the bags mom had brought were for the dinner part 

 you were now putting the fruit salad in a bowl and mashing the cooked potatoes, after you were done sans came in and asked "do you need any help?" you smiled and nodded "that would be great, thanks!" you handed him the mashed potatoes bowl, you having the fruit one, and you both started to walk to the dining room when you were stopped by mettaton "woah there darlings, why don't you look up?" 

you looked at her confused but you complied, and  what you saw made your head turn into a cherry, it was a mistletoe, you were under it with sans, you glanced at sans and his entire skull was blue, you bit your lip until you thought a way to go around it, you kissed sans' cheek bone smiled and continued to the table, mettaton's mouth fell open and she said 

"that wasn't a kiss darling" you smile and reply back "well, i kissed his cheek bone, besides he doesn't have lips" you shrugged and said towards him "hey sans, could i have the mashed potatoes over here please?" sans broke free from his trance and came forward, his skull still a quite bit blue he smiled dumbly and you suddenly thought that maybe it wasn't impossible that ncg was right...
