Sans was pacing.
This seemed to be a regular thing now.
It's been a couple of days since you've been brought back, and since then, you've told everyone about what happened on your side of things. Before they came, and what the markings were. Though you didn't say anything about the Mysterious Girl. The markings had faded into your skin tone a few hours after you woke up, but if you used any sort of magick they would glow just enough where you could see their outline.
At this moment, you were sitting on your bed, your empty breakfast plate beside you on the side table. Staring at your boyfriend walk back and forth, back and forth. Muttering here and there, you weren't even sure if he knew you were looking at him.
So, you swung your legs over the side of your bed with only a little trouble and stood in front of his next pass. He bumped into you and you wrapped your arms around him. Surprised, Sans stiffened, but when he realized who you were, he sighed and started patting your head. You dug your face into his shoulder.
"You shouldn't be standing." He mumbled. Reaching his arms to return your hug.
"Maybe you shouldn't be pacing" You mumbled back.
Sans remained silent, though he did bring the two of you a bit closer. The two of you stayed like that for a few minutes, before you spoke up.
"So what's on your mind?" Sans sighed.
"I'm trying to figure out a way where you never see Warrior again without fighting her." You furrowed your eyebrows together.
"There is a way. But that's only by using the markings."
"And how do you know that?"
"Uhhh..."
Sans leaned back, looking you in the eyes. You bit your bottom lip, unsure if you should tell him. I mean, he's always been by your side. And maybe by telling him he won't be so worried?
"Well," You started "There's this girl that's been appearing in my dreams for a while. She's the one who gave me the markings, and the one who said they'll banish Warrior from our world."
Sans blinked.
"She's also the reason I'm a Cowl."
Sans' mouth dropped open.
"And she's the one who gave me my powers in the first place."
Sans looked baffled by the new information you just gave him. But now that you were talking, you couldn't seem to stop. The things she told you became too much to keep to yourself.
"Apparently she's been watching me my whole life, the Shadows are an old enemy of hers, don't ask I don't know the details. But apparently, they got away from her and so she had to find them again, she found them here, in this universe. And that's what's been causing all this heartache. They're also not just attacking this timeline, but others as well. That's why she gave me the markings, she can't enter our world because otherwise, the Shadows would completely explode the entire planet. The markings are her magick. They can take Warrior out of here and we won't ever have to worry about her ever again."
Finally done with your spiel, you sucked in a big breath and waited for Sans' response.
"What in the living-" He started.
~*~Time Skip~*~
After you had explained your guts out to Sans, and he had some time to adjust, you both went downstairs. Apparently, Toriel had been housing a girl that your friends had rescued while on Mt. Helens. You wanted to meet her, and so after she had been accustomed to the area, Toriel decided to bring her the Skele-bros. house.
