Philip knows a lot of things. He knows he isn't like most people and he doesn't have much of a problem with it. He also knows how to hide things like feelings, good and bad ones. He knows how to act like everything is okay and he knows how to push his feelings away to help the people he loves. But there's one thing Philip will never know and that thing is Lukas.
Philip will never know the way Lukas looks at him, because he's always looking away. Philip will never know how Lukas' smile falters when his friends mess with him. Philip will never know how Lukas spent days trying to figure out how to talk to the cute new boy. He will never know how Lukas feels around him, how he feels scared but safe. How he doesn't feel alone for once.
Philip knows lots of things but one of the things he will never know is how much Lukas loves him.
