"First day!" Camilla excitedly said, opening up the big curtains. A lot of sunshine fell through the big window and I turned around, staring at her with the most harsh look on my face ever. She was in her pretty silk pajama and was energetically walking around the room, humming a soft song.

Me on the other hand, had the slightest morning mood and groaned while sitting up straight in my bed. I took a hand through my big mop of curly hair and looked down to see the oversized Avengers t-shirt I was wearing. Obviously I had stolen that from Liam some time back. It took me a few minutes to adjust to the room again before I could get up and make my way towards the bathroom.

After five minutes I walked back out to see Camilla had disappeared and was now in the kitchen making herself a very healthy green smoothie. I scrunched my face when she turned on the blender and leaned against the wall, waiting for the loud sounds to finish. "How can you be like this in the morning, like how do you do that?" She handed me a cup of black coffee, like I usually drink it. "Thank you." I said, then opening a cabinet to get me a pop tart for breakfast.

"It's all about your mindset, dear." She grinned and walked away with her smoothie.

I rolled my eyes and sat down on our little couch while eating my pop tart and drinking my coffee, dozing off a little bit again. The sun was out and shining and it looked like a lovely day. But the early mornings were something I had to really get used to again.

I realised after a bit it was time to get ready so I made my way over to my desk so I could do my makeup, so I started my morning routine. Camilla walked past me and turned on some soft music and then left again, while I could hear her humming along to the music in the bathroom.

After a while, we both finished getting ready and I sure did like the way I looked. I was about to open the door when there was a knock on it. I smiled and opened it, showing Niall and Liam in the door opening. "Who should we thank for this lovely present?" I said jokingly and stared at them.

"Well good morning!" Liam said, I laughed and hugged both of them. "Lily!" Camilla yelled while running out of the bathroom and in to the little living room. "Oh hi!" She laughed while seeing we had some visitors. "Morning!" Liam laughed and walked past me, followed by Niall.

"So why are you guys here?" I asked them, walking back over to my bed to grab my phone, which I had forgotten. "We thought it would be fun to take you guys to get some coffee, classes don't start until an hour." Niall said while standing in front of me, a smile on his face.

"Oh, I actually have an orientation in fifteen minutes, I'm a freshman, you know." I laughed while patting him on the shoulder. "I'm sorry, but we'll catch up another time, how about lunch?" I asked them, my hand still on his shoulder.

"Today?" Niall smiled and I nodded then walking over to my bag and getting my jacket, "I'll text you my class so you know where to find me, but now I have to run!" I laughed, gave both Niall and Liam another hug and then walked out of the door, leaving it open because I know the others would probably leave soon as well.

The second I left the dorm building I was happy I was wearing a jacket, it was now quickly turning in to fall around here. I grabbed my phone to check which building I had to be in, and then made my way over to there.

I entered the classroom when there were already a few people in there, and no sight of any teacher. Some of the people looked at me and I simply just smiled at them, not wanting to look rude or in need of attention.

I made my way to the back of the class, since I was most comfortable there, and sat down at an empty table. The person in front of me turned around and I looked up, meeting his bright and almost illuminating dark eyes. "Hi, I'm Zayn." He said, extending his hand. "Hi, I'm Lily." I said, a little shocked at how gorgeous this boy was. I took his hand and shook it.

"So you're majoring psychology as well?" He asked, laying his arms down on my table and looking at me. "Yeah." I smiled while grabbing my bag and getting one of my notebooks out. "I actually had to redo the year, but I liked it so much I didn't want to drop out." He said, I nodded at his story.

"Where are you from, I can tell that you're not from around here." He asked, staring at me while I opened the first page of my notebook. "I'm from London." I said, thinking back to how different I already felt being here instead of there. "Really, that's pretty far away, what brings you here?" He asked, getting up and taking his backpack to sit down next to me instead of in front of me.

I was shocked at this boy but didn't mind the attention.

"My brother, he lives here with my mother. Our parents are divorced." I said, staring towards the front of the class, still no teacher in sight. "Does your brother go to this college too?" Zayn asked me while taking a hand through his hair and playing with his fingers. I only now noticed he had quite some tattoos spread on his skin.

"Yeah, his name is Liam." I said, which made Zayn tense up, which I thought was just plain weird. "Really-" He started saying but was caught off by the teacher that just then decided to walk in. I was planning on asking about it later, but now I  really wanted to pay attention to whatever the teacher was saying.

After an hour of talking and explaining, the orientation was done. I got up, putting my stuff back in to my bag and fixing my top that had cropped up a little bit while I was sitting.

Zayn got up as well, grabbing his bag. "So, what class do you have now?" He asked me while we walked down the steps and in to the big corridor that was now filled with students everywhere. I grabbed my schedule on my phone and pointed at it, Zayn showed a small smile, "me too." I nodded, it was good to have a person to sit next to. Zayn led the way since he was already pretty familiar here.

I couldn't help but notice even more stares than before. Was it because I was Ali's friend, was it because I was talking to Zayn? I tried to forget about it while following him in to the class room, seeing the teacher already standing in front of the class.

"Good to see you joining us again this year." The old man snorted, staring at the boy in all black that walked in. I just followed him and didn't say anything. "Always a pleasure." Zayn replied while slipping in to his chair, I sat down next to him.

"Is this like your least favourite teacher or something?" I asked, a soft chuckle escaping my lips. "Totally." Zayn said, letting out a soft laugh.

Zayn took off his leather jacket so I took another little look at the tattoo's that covered his arms. They were gorgeous, they all looked like nice drawings.

The class started whilst we listened to it, sometimes having a little conversation but then paying attention to the teacher again. It was nice having somebody to know and sit next to during these freshmen first days.
