chapter thirteen

"I got us breakfast." I rolled around in the bed to see Zayn walked in with a brown bag. He put it on the end of the bed and took off his coat, hanging it behind the door. "Thanks." I smiled, sitting up and leaning against the headboard.

I waited for him to unpack everything. He handed me a coffee which I thanked him dearly for and then he gave me a box from McDonalds with an Egg McMuffin in it. "My favourite." I smiled, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards me so he sat at the edge of the bed. I kissed him before telling him thanks again.

Zayn took off his shoes and slipped back in to bed next to me, giving me a kiss on my temple and then opening his own Egg McMuffin. I took a few bites of mine when my phone started ringing. I looked at Zayn and then at my phone, seeing it was Harry.

I have been ignoring everyone for this entire week, which was quite hard. I had skipped classes, making Zayn go to them so he could get me notes. My friends tried to call me but I ignored them and just walked the other way. 

It was currently Saturday, I had been secretly living in Zayn's room this entire week. I had been spending every second of my day with Zayn since the fight with Liam.

After I got to Zayn's last week, he told me to go get an overnight bag. So we waited outside of the dorm complex until we saw Camilla leave so I could get inside and get clean clothes and more stuff to spend a week or more at Zayn's.

I loved spending time with him, he was sweet to me, treated me well.

My thoughts were cut off again when I realised my phone was still ringing. I decided to answer, just so they knew I wasn't dead.

"Yes?" I said, not wanting to be friendly.

"Oh great you are still alive." He replied, making me roll my eyes. "Kind of." I replied. "Are we going to see you again or are you going to hide yourself wherever you have been hiding yourself for the past week?" He asked, I heard some sounds in the background which made me furrow my eyebrows.

"I don't know, you might." I said, kind of teasing him. "You do remember that me, Louis, Ali and Niall didn't do anything to you?" He said, making me bite my lip. It was true. I had just been so occupied with Zayn that I had totally forgot about them.

It was quiet on the other end of the line for a second, until Harry spoke again. "We're throwing a party tonight, you're invited if you want to come." He said.

I started smirking, I turned my head to see Zayn staring at me. "Can I bring a friend?" I asked, smirking at Zayn, who furrowed his eyebrows. "Uh, sure, anyone we know?" Harry asked, I just couldn't wipe my smirk off my face. "You'll see." I replied and then hung up.

"Want to go to a party tonight?" I asked Zayn, putting my McMuffin on his nightstand and sitting down on his lap, one leg on each side of his legs. He smirked, "an old school Theta Tau Xi party, sounds like a loud of fun." He smiled, leaning in and kissing me.

I smiled, turned around so I was laying with my back against his chest. I got my food again and we ate it in silence, enjoying each others company.

It had turned to seven in the evening and I really had to go get a dress from my dorm, so Zayn offered to drop me off and wait whilst I got ready. I told him it'd be better if we arrived separately so it would be a bigger shock if they saw him entering the house.

Zayn told me it was a bad plan at first but I told him he'd get my brother pissed off so it would be perfect. I actually liked Zayn, it was not like I was using him.

Zayn stopped his motorcycle in front of my dorm complex. "I'll see you tonight." I smiled, getting off of the motorcycle and taking off the helmet. Zayn took off his helmet as well. I placed my hand under Zayn's chin and kissed him. "See you tonight." He smiled, waiting until I had entered the building.

I grabbed my keys and opened the door, walking inside. "Lily?" I heard from our bedroom. I walked towards it and saw Camilla standing in the middle, confused as to why I was there. "Hey." I said, smiling at her.

"I'm so happy to see you, you don't know how much I missed you." She said, rushing over to me to give me a hug. I actually missed her too, I just was still a little pissed at Liam. I hugged her back and let go, telling her I had to hurry up and get ready.

We got ready, making some small talk.

"So where were you this week?" She asked me while I had started on my makeup. "Just at a friend." I said, trying to keep it vague, I wanted to surprise her as well. "Vague." She said, winking. I winked back, continuing with my makeup whilst she turned on music. We sang along and got ready.

I got in to my sexiest dress yet, it was skin coloured, silk and tight, I would drive Zayn crazy. I accessorised with lots of gold jewellery and made my hair it's big and curly self. "You ready to go- Holy shit you look amazing." Camilla said when she walked in to the bedroom.

I smiled whilst slipping on my black over the knee heels. "I am ready." I smiled, flattening out my dress again.

We walked out of our dorm and over to outside. "Let's go." I smiled. We started our little walk. Usually Ali would pick us up but she had texted us she was going to help set up the party so she would be earlier.

The walk took less long because we continued on chatting. When we arrived at the party it seemed like literally everyone was already there. We walked inside and were greeted with a lot of unfamiliar faces. We walked over to the beer pong table where our friends were.

"It's Lily!" Louis yelled, staring at me. I laughed as he ran over to me and gave me a hug. "Hi Lou." I laughed, hugging him back. Liam walked over to me, "hi," he said, "hi," I replied. "Can I get a hug?" He asked me, unsure. "I guess." I said, trying to act nice. Then Ali and Niall hugged me, lastly, Harry walked over. "You look really good, where's your friend?" He said whilst hugging me. "He can be here any second." I smiled, looking towards the door.

Not even ten seconds later the door opened and in it, Zayn stood. There were some gasps and Liam and my friends looked up to see what was going on. "What is-" I heard Liam say but I didn't hear the rest because I walked away from them and over to Zayn.

"Z!" I smiled excitedly, holding my arms open to give him a hug. "Hey Lil." He smiled, looking through the room to see all of my friends, boiling of anger and confusion. "Let's do this," he smirked, kissing my temple and grabbing my hand.

"I think most of you met, but Camilla, this is Zayn." I said, introducing him. "Nice to meet you." Zayn said, holding his hand out for her. She was about to grab it when Liam stepped in between them.

"Is this some kind of payback? I don't want him in this house." Liam replied. His face turning angrier by the second. "Come on Li, you can date whoever you want, so let me do the same." I said, grabbing Zayn's hand. "You're playing fire with fire, Lily." Harry said, walking over as well.

I raised my eyebrows at my friends. "So Liam can date whoever he wants but I can't? When I am with Zayn I actually feel great, he makes me feel amazing. He makes me happy." I said, staring at Zayn who just stood there, smirking, he really got a revenge out of this and I let him.

"There is a difference between dating Camilla and dating Zayn, Lily." Niall said, he had been awfully quiet since I got here. "Oh so now you talk?" I frowned at Niall, since he had not said a word besides hello to me since I got here. "You guys keep forgetting that I do not know the Zayn you know, I only know the new one and I am more than happy to know him." I said, wrapping my arm around his waist. He laid his hand on my butt showing me a comforting smile.

"Leave." Liam said, staring straight in to Zayn's eyes. "You too." He turned to me, pointing at me. Camilla gasped and grabbed his upper arm. "Li, don't do this you will regret it." She said. He stared at his feet and then looked up at me. He couldn't say it.

"I'll leave, Kappa Sigma throws better parties anyways." I said, staring at all of my friends one last time, then grabbing Zayn's hand and walking straight out the door.
