"Dad!" I cried out, rushing in to his arms when I was close enough. "My princess." He said, holding on to me tight. At first it hurt, my stomach and neck being slightly crushed, but hugging my father made all of that pain disappear.

"Take off those sunglasses dear we're inside." He said before taking them off of me. He gasped and stared at me. "Lily.." He said, he was completely shocked. I bit my lip and stared at my feet. "Now I understand, come on, let's go home so we can talk." He said, grabbing my hand and suitcase. He put the sunglasses back on me and then walked off.

We walked through the airport and over to the parking lot. I followed him to the car and after loading in my suitcase we sat down. We sat in silence for a second. "I-" he started saying but didn't continue, because he didn't know what to say.

"I'll tell you everything, just, at home." I said, staring at my hands.

He nodded and drove off.

On the drive home, I stared around and I realised how much I had missed London and all it's beauty. There was snow everywhere, Christmas decoration and lights on the corner of every street. This is what I had missed. Not just cold and slightly chilly weather like that in Miami, because it couldn't actually get freezing cold there.

Eventually we got home. I was so happy to be back. The second I opened the door, our two golden retrievers rushed over to me, "Bailey! Charlie!" I said happily, hugging them. It hurt my stomach but the joy of them hugging me really was enough to numb the pain for a second.

"I'll get us some tea and then we can talk." My father nodded, I replied with a nod and walked over to the couch, our dogs followed me and laid down next to me. I checked my phone to see it was 6 AM, I was tired, but I really needed and wanted to talk to my dad.

"Alright, here's your tea." My father smiled, handing me my cup. "Thank you." I said, smiling at him.

"So." He said, sitting down and staring at me. Bailey crawled over to him and cuddled in to his side while Charlie was resting her head on my legs.

"How did this happen?" He said, staring at me. I bit my lip, now was the time to come clean. "It's a very long story, just so you know." I said, petting Charlie in the mean time.

"I guess it started on the first day of school. I met this boy, Zayn." I started telling him. My father and I were always really close, ever since I can remember he was the one I talked to and asked for advice. That was why I didn't move to Miami with my brother and mother once they got divorced. A lot of people say their mother is really their best friend, but my father really was mine.

Obviously he was very busy with work a lot of the time, also when I still lived in London, but he tried to make time for me, luckily he was on Christmas break now too.

"I found out that he used to be friend with Liam, but that he had done some horrible things that got him in to trouble with the police." I said. My father raised his brows. A boy AND he was trouble, he probably already hated Zayn's guts.

"Liam basically forbid me to see Zayn, but that made me get closer to him. Then Liam decided it was a good plan to start dating my best friend, Camilla, so I thought why not get revenge and hang out with Zayn." I said. This sounds like an awful plan now that I think back to it.

"Lily.." My father started saying. "I'm not finished yet, it gets worse." I said, getting angrier at myself with the second. How did I let this go so far.

"I think I did it out of revenge first, but then I really fell for Zayn. Liam basically told me he did not want me near him if I dated Zayn, but I actually liked him so I cut Liam out of my life." My dad just sat there, so confused that this happened.
