"Why are you making me do this?" I whine as Enzo drags me through the woods and we head back to the warehouse where Matt had brought Tripp. Not only did I end things on good terms with Matt but I finally had things good with Enzo and I didn't want to go parade it in front of Matt, it felt too soon.

"It's all business, sweetheart. We need answers from the hunter that almost killed me, so we're going to get em" He said looking more than happy.

"So you don't care that Matt is going to be there?" I ask awkwardly.

"Is there something I should be worried about?" He stops and I bump into him from following too close and he turns around asking me seriously.

"No, there's nothing to worry about" I say taking his hand. "But Matt is someone I still care about, I just don't want to rub it in his face. So if you're making me go to this... we have to play it cool" I say giving him my best warning look.

"Play it cool? Are we not playing it cool?" He asks completely mocking my tone and voice which I playfully shove him for and he laughs and throws his arm over my shoulders. Things were good with us, granted it had only been a day but they were still off to a good start.

"Alright, let's do this" I say and he opens the doors for me. I walk inside and Matt is the first person I see. He tries to cover up how awkward he feels but I know he probably wishes he was anywhere else right now. Enzo comes in completely un-phased by the situation and goes over to Tripp who is tied up and still roughed up from the crash.

"Hello, Again" Enzo says in a taunting way. "Quite the mess you made at the border last night. Hit and Run. Good thing Matt, here was in the neighborhood to give you a ride home" He says.

"You brought me here?" Tripp asks Matt, looking betrayed.

"You went after my friends, what did you expect?" He tells him.

"Your friends that kill people" Trip says.

"We aren't all the monsters you think we are" I say stepping in front of him.

"You mean you didn't attack me yesterday?" He scoffs sarcastically.  

"I was defending myself after you tried to shoot me and drive me across that border like my other two friends." I say.

"I don't kill people, you do that" He says and I realize it's no use. "Ask him what you want and let's get this over with" I say to Enzo.

"Stefan has already made a very passionate argument in favor of snapping your neck. Whereas in a surprising role reversal I've opted for the "get all the information before we kill him" method" Enzo explains to Tripp.

"Don't be a dick, you know you can dry the vervain out of him and compel him to forget everything and he'll never set foot in Mystic Falls again" Matt says.

"We're not killing anyone" I say directing it more towards Enzo.

"You really don't think he's a one-man vampire busting operation, do you?" Enzo asks and scoffs. "While Tripp tortured me for the names of all you, I had a front seat to quite a few urgent phone calls, visits from mysterious men, all of which who were wearing that same uniform you've been traipsing around in" Enzo says to Matt. "I'd just like to know what they're up to while he's here with us" Enzo smirks at his plan. He knows he's right but I don't want to do anything to cause any trouble between him and Matt. So I turn to my side and grab a hammer off the table and toss it to Enzo who smashes Trips hand and forces him to talk.

"Aaah!" He screams out. "Th-They're doing what they always do!" he confesses. "They're tracking vampires like your friend, Caroline Forbes" He says. I look up worried and suddenly pull out my phone to call Caroline, she doesn't answer so I call Stefan instead and get him to warn her. I look at Matt who is really torn between what is going on so I walk over to him.
