Chapter 3!

I sat in my bed listening to Elena but not even Elena, it was this preppy, annoyingly optimistic version of her... the version that had no memory of loving Damon. She was making plans with Caroline who had come to spend the night, since she found Stefan and learned that he wasn't planning on coming home.

"You wanna come check out the party tonight, Aurora?" Elena asked me, she clearly didn't remember that I blamed her for Damon's death, and completely disagreed with her decision to erase Damon.

"I'll pass" I say biting my tongue from saying anything else, she noticed my tone but continued to ignore it, Caroline gave me a quick warning look before continuing the conversation.

"You're coming Caroline, I got Matt to take the night off from his training and Tyler is taking a night off from the team, even Jeremy is coming" She says.

"Matt's going?" I ask suddenly and Elena turns back looking embarrassed.

"Yeah, I invited him out... sorry" She says but I just ignore her and get up.

"Where are you off to?" Caroline asks.

"Breakfast" I say vaguely but Caroline gives me a knowing look so I add "With Enzo" I finish.

"That's pretty... strange and consistent" She says.

"It's fairly normal..." I say smirking before grabbing my phone and heading out.

"Bring him to the party! It will be fun!" Elena yells after me and I roll my eyes as I keep walking. I wasn't going to be apart of helping her keep up the act of not loving Damon although Caroline begged me too... so ignoring her was the best I could do.

"Morning Gorgeous" Enzo's voice causes me to look up. I am actually surprised that he's in my dorm building waiting for me...

"Hey... uh what are you doing here, I thought we were meeting at the Pub" I ask.

"Which is what I told you so you would be surprised when I showed up here" He says raising his eyebrows like he was a genius.

"Okay... " I laugh sarcastically.

"So what's that I hear of a party happening tonight" He says as we get coffee and walk down the street.

"It's a stupid college party where guys get drunk and watch girls who are half naked" I say trashing the idea.

"Sounds like a good time to me" He jokes and I squint my eyes at him.

"Anyway... Caroline is trying to make me go but I'd rather not watch Elena as she cheats her way to a new life" I say.

"Still holding a grudge, are we?" He asks which earns him a glare from me. "Didn't you disappear for four months?" He asks and teases me.

"Yes, but I never forgot. She erased him!" I began to rant until he cut me off and stopped me in a teasing way.

"Alright, alright, pipe down. I admit, it was selfish, but at least the girl can smile again" He says.

"Okay, I am not at all used to this nice version of Enzo... what happened to you, your losing your edge" I say as I keep walking, knowing he's watching me walk ahead. We walk into the pub and unfortunately my good mood is ruined once I see Liv. We make eye contact and I try to turn back out when Enzo blocks me.

"Going somewhere? You're not... running away from your issues are you? Kind of like... oh, what's her name..." He pretends to think and I roll my eyes and shove him a little.

"Fine... we'll stay" I say walking in again but then Liv gets up to leave, her brother Luke following her.

"Now I swear I've seen that before" I say loud enough for them to hear me.
