"Kai's gone?!" I asked in shock.

"For good... he's stuck in the prison world with the rest of Lilly's family... or whatever they're called, it's really complicated" Elena tells me over the phone. I felt bad for Kai, but it was something Bonnie needed to do to heal, so I knew I couldn't say anything about it.

"Well... I guess if it helps Bonnie feel better... and as for Lilly... that sounds like a very, very bad train wreck is on the horizon" I say. "Is there a backup plan?" I ask.

"Damon says he has it all under control... which really means we'll deal with it as it comes, but I think this might actually be good for him if he'd just give her a chance... and maybe you can help him see that?" She asks hinting at a favor.

"No can do... I am at Whitmore" I explain. I was on a mission... for my favourite leather jacket, unfortunately it was still at Whitmore where two very annoying vampires with no humanity now resided. I burst through the dorm doors and stormed all the way up to my old dorm.

"It had better be here, or Caroline's going to have one seriously pissed off Original on her hands. I've got no more patience for vampires on emotional vacations." I say.

"Easy tiger, we've all been there ... and you were kind of the worst one" She jokes at me.

"Oh please, you literally almost killed Caroline, me, her mom, Matt and hmmm am I missing anyone?" I ask.

"Ouch, okay point taken. But I am correct because my point is.... We've all done it, and we've all done it out of pain. So we just need to remember that our sweet friend Caroline is still in there somewhere" She reminds me.

"Yeah, yeah and speaking of... what are we going to do to get the old her back?" I ask as I go into my dorm room and the smell of blood hits me. I walk straight for the closet and surprise, a dead body drops out on to the floor.

"I really wish we had a plan, but were all scattered and haven't had the time to figure out one" Elena tells me. "What was that?" She asks suddenly after the loud thud of the body hits the floor.

"Body number one" I tell her calm. "And from the smell, I would say there's a few more in this room alone. We need to do something Elena" I say as I walk to the drawers but I almost trip on something .... A foot from a body that was shoved under the bed. "Really?" I groan to myself.

"Body number two?" Elena asks more frustrated.

"Correct... but on the bright side I found my jacket" I say heading out the door. "It's too quiet, they must be out terrorizing students somewhere else" I say. "I'll check it out and let you know?" I ask, Elena agrees and soon enough I'm strolling around Whitmore campus. I pulled out my phone and just as I had suspected ... no messages from Matt. Giving him space, was literally the hardest thing I had to do... I would take on Klaus, Kai, Marcus and every other monster we've faced over again instead of having to give Matt space. Speaking of Kai... I had learned from Elena that Bonnie left him in Lilly's prison world and I couldn't help but feel bad ... just when he seemed to be making progress.

I happened to hear very loud music coming from down the street at the Whitmore Pub ... it seemed suspicious but it was nothing like what I thought I would find. I walked in just to see a bunch of compelled college students forced to sit and watch Caroline sing all day while Stefan was draining the ones who said anything negative.

"Wow... Karaoke ... really?" I say sarcastically and in a mocking voice.

"If you don't have anything nice to say ... there's a complaint box over there since we ate the manager" Stefan smiled as he continued to drain the girls arm.
