Chapter 20

As promised, 2 chapters in one day!!!!

Elena, Bonnie and I had created a very fun, very last minute bachelorette party for Jo. We had to be very creative since Jo being Jo, worked very long hours. So here I was waiting in a patient room with a distressed look on my face as she was escorted with a police officer. She looked very worried as I stood there with no expression on my face, I had to sell this to get Jo to follow me. I lead her to an empty patients room before she finally asked.

"Aurora, is everything okay? Is there a problem?" She asks taking notice.

"Nope, everything is fine" The police officer asks and next thing we see is him ripping open his shirt. Jo was very, very surprised but also very accepting as Bonnie and Elena come out from behind the curtains. We cheered, we laughed and of course danced with the very attractive dancer. The night went on and we found ourselves at a diner that Elena had compelled all to ourselves all night, which seemed to really please Jo since she was pregnant.

"An entire diner to ourselves ... actual heaven" Jo says as she enjoys a burger.

"If Caroline were here, we'd be planning a spa day" Elena said. I was happy we had finally gotten Caroline back. I still hadn't visited her since we trapped her and Stefan in that B&B ... I wanted to give her time.

"But no, she's M.I.A" Bonnie says tossing fries into her mouth.

"Which is understandable... considering, so I figured we'd just stuff our faces" Elena said.

"I am good with that, for now" I say sipping my milkshake. "Although, I really wish this was vodka".

"You're an alcoholic.... But, aren't you a vegetarian?" Bonnie says first to me and then looks at Jo.

"Bonnie, don't ruin it..." Elena tries to say quietly.

"I'm just saying that is not a garden burger" Bonnie joked.

"The baby is not okay with the no meat thing... besides it's my party and I'll eat what I want to, although vodka would be pretty great!" Jo gestures to me.

"Right?" Elena adds.

"Hey, I don't want to know what Ric is doing .. do I?" She asks.

"They're probably at the movies..." Bonnie says in a unconvincing voice which causes us all to laugh.

"You know, if you really wanted to know ... I could very easily sneak into that party and see what their up to" I say pretending that it was no big deal. Elena and Bonnie both gave me knowing looks before chucking fries at me.

"Aurora, your trying to bail!" Bonnie says.

"No, she's trying to go spend time with her boooyfrieennd" Elena teases and I playfully nudge her.

"No, no. I am a very trusting girlfriend. I do not need to go and see what they're doing over there at all. I am perfectly fine with the fact that Damon compelled a bunch of random strangers, mostly really attractive woman to surprise Ric with a big party" I say in a really careless voice but secretly sneaking glances at Jo who was stuffing fries in her paranoid mouth.

"Okay, go ... go now!" She orders at me and I laugh before running over and hugging her.

"Traitor!" Elena and Bonnie both yell at me.

"Sorry girls, but as much as I love burgers ... I love my blue-eyed boy more, and no offence ... but this is supposed to be a Bachelorette party" I say before I smack the juke box so at least they have some music on my way out.

I walked into Damon's house and was very surprised by the tons of people I seen, it was way more crazy than I imagined and ... it actually looked way more fun than eating endless cheeseburgers at a diner. I made my way through the crowds of dancing people and my eyes landed on my favorite one of them all. I seen him getting a drink from a keg and I had to play with him a little.
