I may be out of my mind for falling in love with him. All my life, I never thought that my heart will be held captive by a beastly man. I am that kind of girl who grew up dreaming to live a fairy tale, a story within which a charming prince in a blinding armor will continually asks for my hand in marriage. He came into my life dressed like an angel, but later on, metamorphosed into a hideous demon, who then claimed me as his own, even without asking for my consent. I became his possession, and later on, his obsession.

He wants me only to himself. They fear his fury and violence, that is why no one ever tried taking me out of his grasp. But those who'd dare to? He said he'd kill. Being someone with a heart frozen by the icy breeze of cruelty, and a soul which can't feel the warmth of kindness or mercy, it is safe to say that the demon himself gave birth to this vile man. He is tempting, yet mysterious.

Behind tailored coats and polished sleeves, he keeps his true individuality from the eyes of the people. He's a man of principle, but also, a man of secrecy. But despite of his apathy, this lone man has taught me how to love myself, and how to recognize my flaws with acceptance. He taught me a lesson, which never would have known, despite hours of indulging myself with hefty books, or despite of listening to millions of motivational speakers.

This man, the one I once despise, and the one I once deemed as a child the wicked, familiarized me with the reality of our world. He taught me that even though the world is foul, it rewards those of bravery, courage, and compassion, with eternal bliss, and lasting peace of mind. Loving him is like chasing darkness. With him, the future is uncertain. I was never sure of whether his love will be the safe haven for my spirit, or the death of my soul. The only thing which I am sure of is that no matter what the future may bring, we will face it hand in hand. Together, we will write our own story. Together, we will stop the world from turning into a monster.
