Marinette walked into school, not sure what happened last night. She knew they talked, a lot and ate the cookies she was going to give her class and played video games. Wait. The cookies! She ran home as fast as she could before anyone noticed her in the school. She grabbed cookies from her parents bakery and ran back to the school just in time for the first bell to ring. She walked into class and sat next to Alya, her best friend and they talked until the late bell when their teacher, Ms.Bustier, walked in.

One hour. One hour of doing nothing but eat the cookies Marinette took from the bakery. Since they all passed the test, they also got a free period. Everyone was talking loudly while Ms.Bustier tried to set up her lesson plan for the rest of the year. Marinette and Alya talked, Adrien and Nino talked to each other. Everyone was suppose to talk quietly but no one listened and Ms,Busteir didn't care. She was trying to learn German so was repeating things from Rosetta Stone while she listened to it through her earbuds. Adrien darting his eyes to Marinette every once in a while.

"Adrien, you with me dude?" Nino waved his hand in front of Adriens face and Adrien nodded, sheepishly smiling as well.

He uncrossed his arms and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah sorry. I just, zoned out." Adrien smiled and Nino nodded. They kept talking and and Marinette lifted a brow as she looked at the back of Adriens head. He leaned on the desk while Nino talked in front of him, both standing up in front of their desk. They didn't want to sit.

"Girl, are you listening?" Alya laughed and followed her gaze. "Ooh~ You got an eye for him again."

"What no!" Marinette waved her hands in front of Alya, moving them to form an 'X'.

"Oh come on. He looked sick, maybe Nurse Mari should take care of him." Alya smirked as blush grew on Marinettes face.

"You really think I should? I mean, he's not sick, just distracted." Marinettes cheeks were as red as roses by now.

"Yeah, by you." Alya snickered while Marinette rolled her eyes.

"How can someone that, perfect, like someone like me." She leaned on her desk, her arms folded on each other.

"Don't doubt yourself girl. These things can happy." Alya smiled.

Marinette scoffed. "Yeah in the movies." Alya laughed and the bell rang minutes later. Both girls left the room as a giant cloud of smoke appeared over Paris.

Alya smiled and ran off, taking her phone out as she ran. Marinette ran off somewhere she could transform. She rounded the corner and saw the akuma, gasping and hiding behind the wall. "Marinette?" Marinette jumped and turned around to see Chat. "What're you doing here? It's too dangerous."

"I uhm, started running then ended up here." she nervously laughed.

"Let me take you somewhere safer," he walked towards her then put her arm around his neck while he held her waist. "Hold on." He pressed a button on his staff, pushing them into the air. She dug her head into his chest, acting of course, but is soon wasn't. He smirked a little as she gripped him harder, his nails digging into the back of his neck. She was scared. She never did this out of costume. Chat balanced on his staff and set Marinette on his lap as he looked.

"What're you doing you stupid cat! Put me down!" Terror in her voice.

"Calm down," she looked at him, lifting her head out of his chest. "We'll be down soon I just need to find a place where you'll be safe."

"Just take me home!"

"What if the Akuma attacks you there?" He lifted a brow.

"The akumas not after me!" She gasped as her eyes wondered. The Akuma was heading towards them. "She's after you! Let me down before we both get killed!"

He looked around, his eyes landing on the bakery. "Hang on Princess." how could his voice be so calm in a time like this?
