One Week Later
Marinette hasn't stopped crying or left her room. Everyone knows that her and Chat are a thing. She hasn't gone to school and Adrien came up. He was kidnapped and left to die in the woods but he made it out. Alya and Nino come and visit but it doesn't heal her crying. Adrien hasn't came at all. But there she was again. In a ball on her bed crying her eyes out. The school bell rang through her room. The school day just ended.
Adrien walked to his ride and opened the door, looking at the bakery. He bit his lip and looked at Nathalie. "Can I go visit Marinette?"
"Make it quick."
"I-I'll call you when I need to be picked up," he smiled and closed the door, walking to Marinettes. He made it onto the bakery and then up to Marinettes room when Tom and Sabine said it was fine. He knocked on the trapdoor before walking in. "Marinette, it's Adrien," she flinched and hid under her sheets. He walked to her bed and put his bag on her chaise before sitting on the edge of her bed. She turned to his and looked down, her mouth and nose covered by the sheets. Her eyes were red. "H-H-How've you been?"
"How do I look?" She mumbled. He sighed.
"Uhm, how's Chat and you?"
"I haven't seen him since he got out." She mumbled again.
"Why?"
"He's the biggest idiot in the world when he said that he loved me. Now everyone knows and news people come in everyday to ask me about it." She uncovered herself to her stomach. She wore a grey hoodie with a white undershirt.
"I think it shows that he'd risk everything for you. I mean, I heard he almost died protecting you." He smiled and she sighed.
"He doesn't mean it. I know he was just doing it for show."
"But he almost died. I don't think he would do that for anyone else but Ladybug because she has to cleanse the akuma and I don't think he would do that for any other civilian."
"Yeah but-"
"He loves you. What's so bad about that?"
"I could die."
"Would you rather die alone or or die protecting someone?" He left the room and she bit her lip and sighed.
