A Few Days Later

It took a while for the next Akuma. He growled as the Akuma attacked Ladybug and protected her, using his body as her shield and getting hit and hurt by the blast. She yelled as he tried to stand. He looked at her, a lazy look in his eyes. He yelled as he got hit again and again for her. He fell to the ground and she held him up. "Chat! Come on Chat! We have to fight!"

"I-I protect you M-M'Lady. Y-You do y-your j-job," he smiled, in pain. She pursed her lips in thought. "Go on! Fight! I got your back!" He shouted and she jumped up and fought the Akuma. He protected her from the blast and got them in his body rather then hers. After the battle her Lucky Charm only fixed half of his wounds.

"Chat!" She ran to him and he sheepishly smiled while trying not to break into a coughing fit. The pain in his abdomen was slowly killing him. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah I'm fine." He smiled through his pain. She winced at the sight he was in.

"No, Chat, you're not."

"I-I will be. M-My Father knows who I am. He can fix me up." Chat smiled and she bit her lip.

"W-We'll talk about that later. Eiffel Tower at six, okay?" He nodded. He jumped off and she went home. At six he got to the Eiffel Tower and she got there a little after him. He looked at lot better.

"Late are we, M'Lady?" He laughed and she rolled her eyes and joined him on the edge of the Eiffel Tower.

"Now, how did your father find out?"

"He saw my Kwami while I was looking for cheese to see my girlfriend." He sighed and she giggled.

"You really are an idiot you know," she laughed and he rolled his eyes. "How do you feel?"

"Better. My father really patched me up," Chat smiled and she nodded. They looked out onto the city, their feet dangling on the edge. "Ladybug, do you want to know who I am?" She gulped.

"Chat, you know the rules. We can't know." She wanted to but half of her didn't.

"But why? It would benefit us to knowing!" He gave her kitten eyes and she sighed.

"Name three." She crossed her arms.

"We could help each other's injuries, get to know each other without the mask, our Kwamis will finally be happy with each other." Chat smiled and she sighed.

"One was for our Kwamis, not us and you want to show me, I-I'm not ready to show you." She looked down at her feet over the edge.

He sighed then a small smile pulled at his lips. "Why don't I tell you? I can wait for you to tell me." He smiled and she bit he lip.

"how do you know I can be trusted?"

"You just have that vibe." He smiled. She knew why he was doing this. She set him up to do this.

She bit her lip. She had to choose. She closed her eyes and sighed. "F-Fine. Y-You can show me but don't blame me if I go running!" She pointed at him. He smiled and they stood up. She leaned on the bars as he turned around. He balled his hands into fists.

"Plagg, Claws In," he smiled as his suit flaked off. She gulped as he turned around. "Th-This is me, M'Lady." Adrien bit his lip. She held her hand over her mouth and took a step back. She was speechless.

"A-Adrien?" He nodded and sunk his teeth further into his lip. Her eyes started to water. "I-I can't."

"Can't what?" She took out her yo-yo and he ran and held her hand, stopping her from going. "What can't you do?"

"I-I can't see you right now. I need time to adjust." She bit her lip and took her hand away.

"O-Okay," he transformed again and ran off to his house to get ready for Marinette. She bit her lip and went home. She turned off all the lights and turned off her lights. She was ready. He knocked on her trapdoor and she closed her eyes and pretend to be asleep. "Princess," he whispered. She was asleep. She wouldn't wake up. "Princess," he said a little louder. "Mari," louder. "Marinette," her eyes moved from side to side. "Mari, I know you aren't asleep," she sighed and let him in. He sat across from her. "Why were you pretending to be asleep?"

"I-I thought I could trick you." She giggled and he smiled.

"I showed Ladybug who I was, do you think I can show you now?"
