Marinette yelped as Chat carried her into the school. He took the long way and since they left early he could afford it. She lived next door but he went all around Paris to make sure everyone saw and heard it was his Princess' birthday. She yelped as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop then landed in the courtyard. She glared at him while he put her down. "Stop trying to kill me!" She pushed him away and he chuckled.

"Oh come on. I've done that so many times. Why are you still scared?"

"Because you'll drop me!"

"Have I done that before?" He laughed then thought. He has. It was either an accident or to scare her. "Don't answer that." She scoffed and crossed her arms. Alya and Nino walked over to them and crossed their arms.

"You've dropped her?" Alya glared at him.

"It was an accident." He put his hands up and Marinette rolled her eyes.

"Yeah whatever. Shouldn't you be getting to school yourself?"

He nodded and kissed her knuckles. "See you later Princess." She blushed as he kissed her cheek then jumped away. Nino smirked.

"Looks like someone's got a fever." Nino laughed and Marinette punched his arm.

"Sh-Shut up!" Adrien walked into the school and smiled at his friends. He fist bumped Nino and hugged the girls then they went to class. Nino grabbed Adrien by the collar and dragged him somewhere else instead of class.

He grabbed him by the shoulders. "Adrien, you can't do that."

"Do what?"

"Listen, I know you like Marinette," Adrien swallowed hard. "But you can't do what you're doing anymore. Chat will kill you if he finds out."

"What am I doing that's so bad?"

"You're flirting with her!" Adrien lifted a brow. "I know when you flirt and whenever you're around her you flirt with her. I just don't want Chat to use Cataclysm on your face."

"I don't flirt with her." Not as Adrien anyway.

"You sure dude? Alya agrees with me. This is for you're own good and it's obvious they aren't breaking up anytime soon."

Adrien didn't know what to say. His friend was looking out for him, when the person who would kill him was himself. Adrien sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I get it. I won't flirt with her anymore." He sighed and Nino smiled at him. They walked into class. They sat in class and an hour later a new Akuma blew through the window and grabbed Marinette. No one saw it coming. Everyone gasped and Adrien quickly hide and transformed. He ran out onto rooftops looking for Marinette. He found the Akuma in the field he took her on her birthday the year before. He glared at the Akuma as he carried Marinette to the top of the tallest tree.

"Chat!" She called out and he watched in horror as the Akuma held her over the side. She looked down and froze, a lump forming in her throat. "Help me!" She finally screamed. Alya, Nino, Sabine and Tom and Gabriel ran onto the scene. Marinette was his assistant. He cared if she got hurt.

"Let her go!" Chat shouted.

"Give me your and Ladybugs miraculous in exchange for the girl!" His demonic voice said on repeat. He growled and jumped up to them, only to have the Akuma dodge and nearly drop Marinette.

The two fought. Chat trying to get Marinette back while still fighting him but he wouldn't let go of her. He ended up slashing her cheek with his claw. She winced and he stopped and looked at her. The Akuma hit him and he hit a dead tree, sliding down the side and rubbing his head. "That the best you've got!" He shouted and attacked again.
