Hearing this, mabilis ko namang tinignan ang sarili ko sa salamin. Okay, this is it. He's really taking you out for a date. No need to panic. I reminded myself as I stared at my reflection. I leaned forward to the mirror to get a closer look of myself. Oh crap, my lips are chapped. I immediately grabbed my nude lipstick and applied it on my lips. "Thanks for being so supportive mom. Be back after dinner. Loveyou." I whispered to my mom

My mother smiled. "Okay. Just don't do stuff you are not supposed to do before marriage okay?" She grinned teasingly.

"Mom!!" My cheeks heat up from embarassment.

Nakita ko namang nagpigil ng tawa si Alex bago siya sumagot. "Opo tita. I'll take good care of your daughter."

My mom nodded and smiled. "Okay, lovebirds have fun!!"
