XLII. Birthday Dinner

"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday our dear Alex. Happy Birthday to you!" I sang with my most beautiful voice which sounded like a drowning cow in my opinion. Luckily for me, madami kaming kumanta at medyo nangibabaw ang boses ni Lyroi.

Were all wearing party hats, and Im the one who's holding Alex's birthday cake which Reggie and I baked ourselves. Alex looked utterly shocked dahil sa surprise namin. The surprised look on his face suddenly turned into a flattering smile in no time while he walked towards me.

"Happy Birthday sweat face." Nakangiting bati ko kay Alex. He walked closer to me and brushed his damp hair with his fingers. Hay. Di ko alam kung pano nagagawa ni Alex na maging gwapo kahit naliligo na siya sa sarili niyang pawis.

"Admit it, Im even more attractive soaking in sweat like this." He said.

Napailing nalang ako. When will Alex ever get over his beautiful self? But on the second thought, I wouldnt change a thing about him. He's being himself, being the Alex I fell inlove with.

"Alam mo kung anong mas attractive?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows

"If you'll blow the candle on the cake. That will make you more attractive to me since medyo nangangawit na ko. It will give you more pogi points."

He chuckled. "I dont think I need more pogi points. I have unlimited." He closed his eyes for a quick two or three seconds before he blew the candle.

"Wooohoooo!! Happy Birthday Alex!" Tyler shouted giddily as he rushed towards Alex at saka tumalon sa likudan nito upang yakapin si Alex. The other boys followed Tyler and they enveloped Alex in a group hug.

"Boys are weird." Natalie sighed who suddenly appeared beside me.

"Come on kids! We cooked a very special breakfast for the birthday boy. Let's eat!" Reggie shouted, kung kaya naman mabilis na nagsitakbuhan ang mga frat boys with Nate and Arch papunta sa dining area.

Alex walked over to me with his hands on the pocket of his sweat pants. "Thankyou for this love." He whispered.

I smiled at him. "Anything for you birthday boy." Itinaas ko ng kaonti yung hawak kong cake at saka muling nagsalita. "Cake time?"

He smiled and nodded before he patted my head at sabay kaming pumunta sa dining area.

We all let out a hearty chuckle as we all watch Tyler enjoying the pile of foods on his plate.

"This *chew* is sooooo *chew* goooooood!" Tyler managed to say habang kumakain

"We have to thank Arch for that. He cooked half of the foods on the table." I said, giving Arch a huge smile

Lumipas ang buong breakfast ng puno ng tawanan at kwentuhan naming magkakaibigan and after an hour taob na lahat ng hinanda naming pagkain sa lamesa.

"Oh. Im so full." Tyler said, letting out a deep sigh habang hinihimas ang kanyang tyan

"Aba magugulat ako kung di ka padin nabusog dun sa kinain mo." Pangaasar ni Reggie kaya nagtawanan naman kaming lahat
