Wills POV
"Hello Jeanine, this is Will one of the Dauntless leaders..."
"Oh hello Will, how can I help you?" Jeanine asks.
"I have been informed that you are wanting a divergent test subject, am I right in thinking so?" I ask. There is a pause in our conversation, it's like she has left.
"Yes, that is correct" she says at last.
"We've got one." I say.
"Who?" She asks eagerly.
"A new initiate, she is ranked first and well there is one small side effect." I say.
"Which is?" She demands.
"She wants to die because she is pregnant, her trainers have informed me that she will die either way at the hands of a murder or by killing her self." I begin. "So I thought it would probably be beneficial if you got to experiment on her first?"
"You think correctly, what is her name and what faction was she previously from?"
"Abnegation, and her name is Charlotte."
"Perfect, abnegation are always the best for experimenting on!"
"I can see it she is delivered to you..." I hesitate what I'm about to say next, " on one condition.."
"What is this..." She pauses, "condition?"
"You do not receive any more divergent from us, not any dauntless members, initiates or children. Do I make my self clear?" I question.
"Crystal, I will take you up on your offer, although would you object for me to take divergents from the factionless sector? Or other factions?" She asks.
"Absolutely not!" I proclaim, "asking as everyone in my faction stays, I don't care."
"Brilliant! It's been nice doing business with you Will!" She says.
"You too, I shall have her brought to you tomorrow."
"Thank you!"
"No problem, good night Jeanine." I Smile as I hang up the phone. Tris is safe which is all I was happy about. I love her, I always have really. I settled for Christina after I realised I was never going to be with Tris. After she rejected Al, I had no hope! But then she went for Four, a big strong masculine intimidating man. Not forgetting he's 2 years older as well. But I'm happy with Christina I love her too! And our child and our baby on the way. Nothing makes me happier than having little Trixie run towards me when I come home from work screaming "daddy, daddy!" It makes me smile again. But that evening I go home smiling anyway.
"Hunny I'm home!" I yell. And as on cute Trixie runs down the hall screaming my name as she does everyday. She's 3 now. I pick her up and swing her around before placing her back on the ground. I kiss her head and scrumple her brown curly mad hair.
"How are you sweetness?" I ask her.
"I'm good, mummy is sitting over there reading." she smiles pointing in the direction of her mother, my wife ; Christina.
"Christina are you okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" She groans. "I want to tell Tris about number two or anyone for that matter!"
That's right we haven't told anyone yet about our second child on the way, we only found out 2 months ago. We were going to wait until 3 months before we told anyone but I agree with her, it's about time we did!
"I need to run and deal with something," I say kissing her head. "I'll be back in half an hour."
