"Hey Tris, what's up?" Christina says to me from behind the desk in the infirmary.
"I need to see a doctor." Is all I say.
"Dr Wang is free, come with me and I'll send you in." Christina says, gesturing for me to follow her down the corridor.
"What's wrong?" She asks. The Candor part inside of her still hasn't died. Just like how my selflessness has not expired through time, it will last eternally.
"Nothing really, just a basic checkup I guess." I reply.
"Aww cool well I hope your okay hunny!" She glows. "You can go in now"
I smile and hug her and then walk into Dr Wangs doctors room. Dr Wang is a small pale skin around 40 year old women. She has short black hair with purple highlights in it, a nose ring an several tattoos. You would not expect this women to be a doctor. But she's dauntless. And dauntless needs doctors.
"So what can I do for you?" She asks.
"I feel sick and I feel like I'm putting on weight and I just want a check up please." I hesitate.
"Is there a chance you could be pregnant?" She questions me.
"Yes, my fiancé and I are very close." I explain.
"I see." She nods. "Well I'll do a pregnancy test and then we will know for sure." I nod.
She does the tests on me and then her face is a half smile half worry. She checks her notes and the scans once again and then looks at me.
"Your pregnant" she says. A small smile and feel of warmth rushes up inside of me. Me and Tobias will have a child in less than 9 months. Next year during initiation, we will have a child to call our own. I thank Dr Wang and leave the infirmary. I must find Tobias but I have no idea where he could be. I wonder around the pit and end up just giving up and going to see Tori. I haven't actually spoken to her in a while so I decide to go visit her, not for a tattoo but for a chat.
I walk through the tattoo parlour doors and she walks up to me her arms open offering me a hug. I hug back.
"I haven't seen you in so long!" I say.
"You've been busy with initiation I understand!" She replies. "Anything you want a tattoo or advice ?"
"More advice but it's kinda something that can't be fixed." I begin.
"What is it?" She asks. My eyes glance over to the other people in the tattoo parlour. She grabs my arm and pulls me round into the back room. Once the door is shut and locked she turns on me. "What's going on?"
The Erudite are planning something on the divergent. They took one of the initiates to do experiments on her but they wanted me. It's my brother and Jeanine Matthews who is running all of this."
"Do you know what they want with your kind?"
I shake my head.
"I'll try and figure out what's going on." She insists. "But I will not put my life at stake. I may be dauntless but I am precautious"
I smile and hug her again. "Thank you, do you know where Four is? I need to find him." I ask.
"I saw him like a half hour ago with Zeke down near the water fountain." She explains.
"Thank you, I'll go look there." I say "ill come visit soon. Let me know if you work anything out."
"I will" she says.
