Chapter Fifteen- Saving a life

Right foot, left foot, duck, jump.

This was repeated for a while, as I fought Papyrus for Undyne, as to train him. We'd been going at this for a while now. 

"Getting tired, Luna?" Undyne teased seeing me try hard to move to Papyrus's attacks.

Although I've done things like this before, I couldn't find it in myself to hurt Papyrus. He was, as Undyne would call him when the two of us talked, a cinnamon bun. 

I shook my head, "Nope not just yet!" I yell back to her as I change my moves to match Papyrus.

He groans in frustration as I move easily to the sides and dodge the attacks. In one swift movement I'm behind Papyrus, and I tackle him to the ground. 

"There. Now give me like five minutes." I pant, and I get off Papyrus. 

He jumps to his feet and looks at me. He tilts his head in confusion as I let my tail and body sink into the soft snow. Undyne chuckles from the side, and she starts to make her way over to us. 

 I watch as my breath becomes visible in the air with every huff. A hand was extended in front of me. Taking it I'm helped to my feet. 

"Thanks." I say as I brush off the snow. 

Undyne nods and pats me and Papyrus on the back before looking to me. 

"I know you can be harder than that." 

A smirk comes to my face as she gets into stance. I copy her and get into stance. 

Papyrus sits on the side. Out the corner of my eye I see G come out to watch with Papyrus.

"Come on, Undyne. You can go first." I say holding my arms open. 

She charges, spear in hand, at me. I just move to the side and she misses. 

With the move of my hand she's pushed back by a purple magic. This time I move and keep my feet moving to the side. 

She moves to, and we both move in a circle. It only took a scream to make us stop. I look to her then G. 

He nods, "Undyne get Pap in then meet us at the front." 

She nods and she and Papyrus disappear. 

"Come on, Dove. Let's go see what that was." He says and starts to run towards the front. 

I hesitate for a second before running after him. The place goes silent. It was as if nothing happened. 

I let out a breath before scanning the trees. My ears twitched as the sound of screaming returns. 

"Come on!" I say following the scream. 

"Wait, what about Undyne?!" G yells from behind me.

"She'll catch up" I say back to him. 

It goes quiet again, and I stop, making G almost run into me. 

"Geez...how 'bout a warning next time Dove?" He huffs from behind me.

I motion for him to keep quiet and look to the opening in front of us. A figure laid in the snow, hands yanking at a Humans trap on it's foot.

We stayed back, hidden from sight. It looked around fanatically and appeared to look like a human. 

It had a jacket covering it's face, much like mine. 

"Damn Humans," it muttered. 

It was a girl.

I shift my gaze to G, whose already looking at me. 

"If I pass out, or almost fall over. You get her out then you get me and we leave. Got it?" I say sticking my arm out in front of me.

He nod, and I look to the girl. My eyes brighten a bit and a fire appears in my hand. 

My vision goes black.

'Humans circled in the area.  The girl appeared panicked as she frantically started to pull at the trap. Some of them took us into notice and brought us into the circle.

The girl looked to us. She wasn't a human, in fact she appeared to be a hybrid. Wait. A hybrid. 

It was Kat. 

So this is how we meet in this time line.

They hit me with something. I turned to look at G, who was on the ground, struggling to get up or use his powers.

My hand went to my neck and pulled out a dart.

Sleeping Dart.

The vision cuts ahead to the cells. I've come to see that no matter what I do to change things, it still happens. We'll still end up in the cells.

I'm in one cell, Undyne's in the same one as me.

G's in the cell next to our, Papyrus is in there with him. The wall separating our cells. His back is against the bars and behind me.'

The vision went black and returned to being normal. I stumbled back a bit into G, who catches me.

"Shit," He says, propping me against a tree, before running to the girl.

My breathing picks up as I watch him slide on the ground in front of him. She looks at him as he uses his magic to undo the trap. 

It comes of in an instant and he gets back up, heading back towards me. It only takes the sound of running foot steps to make him pick up his pace.

Undyne appears beside me as he comes up to me.

"You coming with us or not?" G asks Kat.

I lean from the tree into Undyne who helps me stand. 

Kat's eyes lock with mine, her eyes are laced with concern. 

She nods, and G takes me from Undyne and helps me walk. 

"Undyne.......next time...let's not train before going to save someone's life...okay?" I joke, leaning into G a bit more.

Her and G chuckle before stopping as the sound of yelling could be heard in the distance, making us pick up our speed.
