The faint sound of rushing water filled my ears. The river was farther than Gaster had said. We walked probably all day.

"Can't you just teleport us?" Undyne asked, clearly fed up with walking and eager to get back the group.

I think she's more excited to see Alphys than the others. I wouldn't blame her, I want to get there just as much as she does.

"You think we'd walking if I could teleport. I don't have the energy for that. And trust me when I say that I want to. If I could I'd teleport us without a second thought. Have you looked at me?" I ask, gesturing to the different cuts and scratches on me.

I've been unable to use my powers since I teleported us out of the building. Heck it hurt to even try to use my magic.

Undyne kept quiet after that, making me feel a bit bad about my little out burst. Papyrus, Frisk and Flowey went ahead, playing around as snow lightly fell from the sky.

"Listen, Undyne. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell I just-"

"No, I get it. You're tired and on edge and Sans not being just adds on to the fact that we're not with the group. I shouldn't have pushed on. I'm just excited to get the group." She cut me off, before looking forward.

The snowflakes fell from the sky, landing gently on the ground, for once not melting on impact. A light breeze ran through the trees, pushing the snow from them.

"You're right about that. But I think you want to see Alphys more than the others." I tease, running ahead to catch up with Papyrus, Frisk, and Flowey.

The soft snow kicked up in the air as I ran to catch up. I couldn't help but wonder what the group was doing now.

After a while of walking the sound of rushing water got loud. We stopped and looked at the raging waters of the river that sat in front of us. Huge pieces of ice and chunks of snow drifted along the rapids.

There was no way around the river or across.

"Oh my god...are you kidding me? I'm done." I groan, throwing my hands up in defeat.

I walk back a bit and sit on the ground. Running my hands over my face, I wince as my hands come over a fairly large cut on my left cheek, and another large cut on my forehead.

Frisk stood in front of me, Flowey in hand.

"You can't just take us across the river?" Frisk signed, putting Flowey on the ground.

I sigh and look up at her. Hope filled her eyes as I stood up. I looked down to my right hand, the wrap still sat around her hand and blood covered my fingers.

"I don't know-"

"Oh come on. You can take us across a little river." Flowey cut me off.

"If I do then I have the chance of passing out. Now who would want that?" I ask, tilting my head to the side.

Flowey looks to Frisk then looked back to me, and raised his leaf.

"I'd watch it if I were you weed." I spoke, glaring daggers at the small golden flower.

With a sigh, I put my left hand on my knee and stood up. I shook the snow from my clothes before walking over to the side of the rive.

"Alright then. Come on." I breath out, extending my left hand to Undyne.

They all connected the same way they did two nights ago. I put out my right hand and looked to the other side of the river.

The moment my eyes shut I could feel the earth shift under me. The moment the earth returned to under my feet I opened my eyes.

My vision blurred and my head spun. I could feel the warm crimson red liquid run down my nose.

I leaned over, gasping for air as the blood dripped onto the floor. A hand was placed on my back, gently rubbing circles on it.

It was like a storm was playing in my head. The lightning blurring my vision and the thunder pounding in my head. My left had rose up to my face as I wipe the blood away.

I stand up and look to my side, Undyne stood, resting her hand on my shoulder. Nodding to her, I ignore the spider webs of pain shooting through my shoulder and the thunder in my head.

My vision focuses as we begin to walk, more they walk, I stumble with Undyne helping me. Yet we continue south.

It didn't take to long for night to set back in, the voices of people echoed through the darkness. Once more I swear I heard Gaster voice call out into the darkness. Once more it was the little piece of hope that shown through the darkness.

Then my ears picked up his voice. And his voice alone.

"Where are you, Dove?"
