Chapter Twenty Nine- First steps

'I didn't think it was possible. To have him here. To have him on our side. It never happened in any of the Timelines.

He's been here for a day or so now. We got him a room where Kat can keep an eye on him and far enough from our room so G doesn't freak out.

Both G and Kat are uneasy about having him here. I'm convinced that this is 'The Timeline' and this needs to happen. 

For the first time I haven't felt my sins that are caused by him or the gilt of killing him in my head. The voices that yelled and screamed were silent. 

It was pure torture to have them yelling. I could have sworn I was going mad. That I was going to lose it the louder they got.

Alphys said that today we can try to get me walking without help. So I like to see it as I'm making my way in the world again.'

I was dragged out of my thoughts by G shifting in the bed. Alphys had let me go and sleep in me and G's room. 

We laid around the room all morning, talking and relaxing. I fell asleep at some point, and he fell asleep not to long after me.

I looked up to him, a smile came on my face as I looked at him. His eye sockets were closed, and his head was tilted down and to his right.

His mouth hung open slightly as light snores came from his mouth. He leaned back against the headboard. 

I turned my head, snuggled closer to him, moving my head more in his lap. I close my eyes and take in a breath. My nose is filled with the smell of the vanilla and burnt wood scent of G, making me smile.

G shifted again making me open my eyes and look at him again. His eye sockets were open as he looked at me, a smile formed on his face. 

He sat up a bit, taking his hand and running it through my long black hair. 

"You excited to try walking Dove?" He asks, his voice deeper and smooth from just waking up.

I just nod to him, closing my eyes as his hand went to the top of my head, by my ears. 

He notices and stops, moving his hand to my right ear before petting and scratching it, chuckling as my face flushes red.

My face was flaring as I tilted my head to meet his hand a bit more as it ran along the snow white fur of my ears. 

A light yellow tint came on his cheek bones as a soft moan left my lips as he moved to the other ear. I tensed up under his touch, every time despite the Timeline or Universe I wither under his touch.

It only took a knock at the door for G to stop and put his arms back to his sides. He smirked, blush leaving his face.

Knowing what he was going to do I turned in his lap, facing away from the door, and closed my eyes. 

"Yeah. It's open." G says calmly. 

I hear the door slowly open and foot steps filled the room. 

"She sleeping or..." Kat's voice trailed off.

"Nah. She's just embarrassed." G said setting his hand on my shoulder and giving it a light squeeze, making me open my eyes.

"W-w-well we're h-here to check on you." Alphys's voice stuttered.

I looked to G before sitting up. G moved so I could get to the edge of the bed. Alphys walked over to the bed and unwrapped my ankle. 

A small bruise sat on the outside of my ankle. She smiled and re wrapped it. 

"Y-y-you sh-should be g-good t-to try and walk." Alphys said taking a few steps back.

G took my hand and helped me off the bed. A pinch of pain ran through me but it was bearable.

It was like watching a baby take their first steps. All wobbly and unstable.

I took a step forward with my left foot before putting my right foot forward. Soon enough I was pacing the room.

Kat groaned from the side lines, "Great. Now she can continue to pace the rooms." 

G chuckled and watched as I continued to walk back and forth. Alphys left the room along with Kat.

The moment the door closed I looked to G and crossed my arms. 

"What?" He asked, acting like he didn't do anything.

"You know what." I said walking over to the bed and getting back in my spot, wincing at the pain in my side.

"Whatever are you talking about Dove?" He asked, pulling me so I was laying with my head on his lap.

I looked up to him, "You so mean." I say crossing my arms and pouting.

He chuckles and leans down, kissing my lips. 

"I sorry Dove. Can you ever forgive me?" He asked, looking down at me. 

I smiled and sat up, placing a kiss on his teeth. 

"I think I can forgive you." I say looking him in the eye.

He smiles before turning it into a smirk as he raised his hand to my head and went back to petting my ears.

He brought his head closer to my face, "Now where were we?" He asked seeing me close my eyes and lean into his hand.

"N-n-no fair. Ugh." I stutter only to grown in frustration as he continues to scratch behind my ears.

My tail wraps around his pelvic bone, making both him and me blush. He stops after a bit, dropping his hands. 

He chuckles before laying down on the bed, holding out his right hand. "Come on Dove." He says motioning for me to lay down.

I roll my eyes and lay down, cuddling up next to him, wincing as I lay on my left side. He wraps his arm around me and pulls me closer. 

I lay my head on his rib cage and set my right hand on the other side of his ribcage.

"I love you Dove." He whispered before closing his eye sockets.
