'Now at this point I know you all are thinking the same thing. Why not reset and kill Chara before she even leaves the ruins? Well simple, because I can't tell if it's Frisk or Chara until she's in the ruins.
There for, if I kill her then I might kill Frisk and that will have a HUGE impact down the road. It's called the butterfly effect or the Chaos theory. Even the smallest thing can change everything.
If I never went into the Underground and it was Chara then she would have killed everyone in the Underground and begin to kill Humans.
If I were to kill Frisk then there would be no way out of the Underground until another child were to fall or I would be the one to RESET.
There's no way to win. There's never a way to win. You play to win but is there ever a stage when you win? When you get what you want in the end?'
"You okay Dove?" G asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah. Just thinking." I say, looking from the window of our room to him.
He gets up and sits down next to me, snaking his arm around my waist.
I lay my head on his shoulder, burring my head in the fur of his jacket. My nose fills with the smell of vanilla and burnt wood.
My tail wraps around his pelvic bone, as I close my eyes. A scene played before my eyes not a second after I closed my eyes.
Fire spread through the building like it was nothing. It roared and cracked. The flames and embers lit up the nights sky.
Yelling could be heard above all the noise. Quick, running, footsteps echoed out into the night. I stood, outside the building as flames engulfed it, Papyrus, Frisk, Flowey, and Undyne stood behind me.
Humans bodies could be seen, Papyrus held Frisk close in his arms, Frisk held Flowey tightly by his clay pot. The smell of smoke was thick and hurt with every breath. The smoke filled the sky, blocking out the bright moons light.
My eyes snapped back open at the sound of Alphys's panicked voice. "Guys, guys. We h-have a p-problem." She stuttered.
Both G and I shot up from out spot on the bed and followed after Alphys. We came to a fairly large room, monitors sat around the room, different views of the lab could be seen.
On the big one was a large group. A large group of Humans.
G cursed and growled under his breath, his arm taking position around my waist once again.
The all too familiar shiver ran down my spine. It didn't take to long for the loud crash to ring through the building, shaking it as we stood.
G's grip tightens around me as the sound died down. Asriel and Frisk are at Toriel's side, shaking with fear and terror. Pure fear filled everyone's eyes.
"We're leaving. Everyone grab your things and meet at the RV." G said, pulling me along as we all set off towards our rooms.
We didn't get far before another crash rang through. We picked up the pace, making it to our room. The distant smell of smoke filled the room. More burnt wood and ash, then the normal vanilla and burnt wood scent.
Panic ran through me, but I refused to show it. Running over to the table, I grab my bag, practically shoving everything into it as we came to a stop.
My knife sat in its holder, on my waist, and everything else was placed into the bag. Quickly, I pulled on my jacket, my shoulder raging with complaints of pain and soreness.
