~Luna's Point Of View~

We sat for what seemed like hours. Me crying in his arms, and him trying to calm me down.

I doubt he remembers anything. It's one of the heart breaking timelines. He tried to kill me when we first met, then again a lot of different timelines have tried to kill me. You'd think after everything he'd know me.

I didn't want to move from his arms, I couldn't. Fear ran though my mind like the bullets of a gun. To think, I thought everything would be okay.

The light of day came through the window, casting away the darkness. The beautiful orange and pink colors filled the room. Tears still ran down my face, that only made G pull me closer and tighter.

He ran his fingers through my hair. Whispering soothing things to me. Panic struck through me at every thought. Every possibility of me dying or possibility of everyone I care about dying.

Every breath I took was uneven and shaky. Yet every breath I took was no longer of the outdoor scent of my room, but the vanilla and burnt wood scent of G.

"Ssh...Dove it's okay, it'll be okay," he says pulling back a bit.

His one eye looking into mine. He let out a sigh and wiped away the tears with his bony thumb.

"You're okay, Dove. Nothin' here's gonna harm you anymore," he reassured me.

I could recall every time where something like this happened. I could recall him having nightmares about Papyrus dying or everything going wrong.

A small, barley noticeable, smile played on my lips.

"I don't want to remember anymore...I just don't." I mutter, smile dropping and my gaze goes to my lap.

"It's okay, Dove. It'll be okay. Just calm down...Tori's making breakfast. Whenever you want we can go down. Just breath Dove."

Every breath I took, no matter how big or deep, wasn't there. G's gaze left my eyes and looked around the room.

Just after dawn by the looks of it.

The silence is broken by the sounds of monsters walking around the base. Papyrus's booming voice could be heard down the hall along with Undyne's.

I sniffled my ears picked up, twitching with the broken silence.

G's hand goes under my chin and makes me look at him. "You're okay, Dove...I'm not gonna let anything hurt you, I promise."

The amount of times I've heard that from him, from others...the whole promising thing has lost its meaning. Promises are made to be broken, not all, but most.

Despite what I know I nod. He smiles, a warm smile. I crack a small smile let go of his jacket, muttering an apology. He chuckles and drops his hand.

"You want to go down for breakfast, Dove? Or do you want me to bring you some?"

I stay silent for a minute.

If I go out there they'll ask me what's wrong and get all worried over nothing.

"Could you bring me something?" I ask, voice cracking a bit with every word.

He nods and gets up. Walking away he pauses at the door, looking at me from the corner of his eye before leaving the room.

I sat in the silence for a bit. Staring at my hands, playing with my magic. A small figure appeared in my hand, spinning and dancing. The figure was made of my fire, different shades of purple. I sighed as I changed the image.

A rose floated in my hand before I touched it with my left hand and it became real. In a matter of seconds I had made it disappear into fire.

And then it went back to the figure. They moved elegantly above my palm. Dancing to the unheard song. Just like fighting. You're moving along with your opponent like you would with a partner in dance.

That's what dad had told me. Fighting was just like a dance. The music is unheard but it's like dancing none the less.

The figure stopped and disappeared as I knock came to the door.
