Third Person's POV

While the two continued staring at each other. They speak together which caused them to smile.

" uhm... " Alden started. Maine just looked down and doesn't say anything.

Maine's POV

This day is definitely a nightmare.

" uhm... " he started. I didn't dare to speak. I started walking away from him but he caught my arms.

" I.. I just wanted to ask something.." He said. I looked at him and sighed.

" Thanks... " he said. I just nodded my head. We went to the nearest cafe where we first met.

Is this some kind of joke?

We find a seat and he order our drinks which I thank him.

" uhm... I just want to know something. " he said.

" a-about what? " I said while I clasped my hands.

" a-about us? " he said.

" us? T-there's nothing to talking about. " I said. I saw him sighed.

" I remember few and I knew you we're in my past. Just say something that will make me remember you. " he said pleadingly.

You want me to say that I want you? That I loved you since the day we met?

I just can say those words to him. He was about to reply when gunshot was heard.

Nararamdaman ko nalang na may tumama sa akin, pagtingin ko may dugo sa tiyan ko. I lift my head and saw the fear in Alden's eyes.

" MAINE! " He said then rushed to my side. I tried to say something but the pain was bearable.

" Maine? Maine... Please... Don't you dare close your eyes! " he said. He was still speaking but my world suddenly spins like I didn't feel anything around me.

Alden's POV

Oh my gosh.... What the hell just happened.

" Maine! Maine! Please wag mo akong iwan. " sabi ko. While I tried to wake her up.

" tulungan niyo kami! Please!!! Maine... ANO BA?! TITIGNAN NIYA LANG BA KAMI DITO?! " sabi ko sa kanila. I checked for pulse and thank God it's still there but it's faint.

" Maine? Maine? Please wag kang bibitaw... TUMAWAG NA KAYO NG AMBULANSYA PLEASE! " Sabi ko sa kanila.

" A-alam kung may nararamdaman ako sayo noon. Kahit duwag pa ako. " sabi ko sa kanya.

" k-kahit na m-manhid k-ka. Mi-minahal kita " sabi niya habang tinitiis ang sakit na naramdaman niya. Narinig ko na ang ambulansya at lumapit sila sa amin at ginamot si Maine.

" sir sunod nalang po kayo sa hospital. " sabi ng paramedics. Nag nod lang ako.

Unknown POV

Sorry Maine. Pero kailangan ko tong gawin.
