Maine's POV

I was silently observing the cars, buildings and whatever I see that passed our way. I looked at Alden and stare at his features and think of the things that happened to us.

We may experience the separation and yet destiny finds a way to bring us back....

The trials that we face.

The journey that we discovered.

And our hearts that beat as one.

I was still daydreaming when I didn't notice we have arrived in our destination. I scanned the surroundings and gasped.

" beach? " I asked him. I saw him laugh.

" yeah... Beach actually calms me down and this is where I last bond with her. " he said and sighs. I went near him and grasped his hands which he returns.

I scanned the place and was shocked at what I saw, there lay in the sand was a picnic blanket with big basket and candles scattered everywhere in the shore. I looked at Alden with teary eyes.

" I'm sorry... Does it look OK? " he asks nervously at look him still in shock.

" it's... It's wonderful ..." I said. He offered his hands to me which I gladly accepted. We walked hand in hand towards the picnic. He help me sat down and we started eating the foods that he prepared.

" I hope you like the food. I actually ask help with your friends... " he shyly said. I just laughed at his cuteness.

" it's actually great. Thanks. " I smiled to him which he returned with his trademark smile.

Silence enveloped us again. We just observed the stars that twinkle and savoured the fresh air and splashing of the sea waves. Alden then stands and offers his hand to me which caused me to stare at it.

" would you dance with me? " he said, I gladly take his hand and put it on his shoulders while his was on my waist.

" you look beautiful.... " he whispered which caused me to blush. He laughed and swayed even though there's no music just the sound of the sea that's splashing in the shore.

Third Person's POV

The two people in the shore continued dancing and enjoyed their date.

Alden's POV

I stared at Maine and ask myself.

How lucky am I to date this girl right now?

I just laughed at the thought of that and just enjoyed the girl that I loved.

" you know..... My ex boyfriend was actually a good man, but I was wrong. " she said and sat down in the blanket, I followed and she leaned her head in my shoulder.

" why'd you say so? " I ask her.

" high school pa kami noon... Crush ko na siya ever since he started to be the school's varsity basketball player. Sino bang mag aakala na isang nerd na katulad ko ang maging girlfriend ng isang varsity player na womanizer. Sana nakinig nalang ako sa mga kaibigan ko. " she said and a single tear fell from her eyes.

" pero wla na yun.... Ayoko nang umasa at makita ang mukha niya. Ramdam ko na siya ang nagbaril sa akin. " she said and faced me. I clenched my fist in anger.

" as long as I'm alive.. I will be always here to protect you from him. " I said while cupping her face. I let out a sigh and started saying my feelings to her.

" Maine mahal kita.... Sorry ngayon ko lang sinabi. Hindi kasi ako siguro sa feelings ko sayo noon eh, pero ngayon sigurado na ako... Nagkaamnesia man ako, nandiyan ka parin sa tabi ko kahit hindi kita kilala... Every time I'm with you my hearts beats fast.. " I confessed to her. She looks at me teary eyed. She gently cups my face and whispered the three words that I longed to hear.

" I love you " she said and kissed my lips which caught me off guard but I eventually kissed her back. We stop and stare at each others eyes.

" so you are now my girlfriend? " I ask her. She laughed at me.

" what? " I ask her.

" I just kissed you earlier. Does that count as a yes to you? " she laughingly said. I shake my head and kissed her again.

" Alden! Tumigil ka na nga! " she said while blushing.

" gusto mo naman eh... " I said while smirking.

" ehhh... Enebe.... " pabebe niyang sagot. I just laughed and stole a kiss from her again and sprinted away.

" Aldennnnnn! BUMALIK KA DITO.. " she shouted and ran.

We just run around the shore and enjoyed the day ahead of us.

Third Person's POV

In the far corner of the beach. There was a man who secretly took photos of the two. Suddenly his phone rang.

" sir? "

" did you do what I said? "

" yes sir..... I'll bring the photos in your office tomorrow. "

" I'll expect your presence here. "

The call was cut and the man continued taking photos of them and leave with a smirk.

I'm backkkk!!!! Sorry for the late update cuz I've been so busy with schools stuff..and finally it's done. It's officially our Summer.
