They got home safety. Once they walked in the house Zach kissed Tracey's cheek. She giggled and pushed him away. Austin groaned and rolled his eyes. Lauren laughed at him. Mike smiled and shook his head. "I know something about the saviors that you guys might not." Austin said and sat down. "What's that?" Juliet asked. The group nodded in agreement. "They have Eli who's the boss. Eli has a main..guy.. I guess. He's pretty scary. His name is Dwight." The group just shrugged. "Okay." Lauren said. "Just felt like you should know." Austin said and smiled. "Seems legit." Zach said and the group laughed. Tracey reached for Zach's hand. "Babe." Zach said. "Hm?" Tracey said and smiled at him. "Let's go tomorrow and make that deal with the saviors." The group nodded. "Okay." Korey said. "Lauren, Austin, and Mike will go scavenging during that." Juliet added. "Sounds good to me." Lauren said. It was settled. Tomorrow Tracey, Zach, Juliet, and Korey are going to make a deal with the saviors. Everyone agreed on it. So they went to sleep peacefully that night as they knew that everything's going to be okay.
Lauren wakes up. She walks downstairs and sees Tracey and Zach talking as they get ready. "Mike and Austin are ready." Tracey says. Lauren points to herself. "I am too." Tracey laughs. "Then go already."Lauren hugs her sister. "I love you so much." Tracey says. "I love you more." Lauren says as she smiles. Tracey pulled away and looked her sister in the eyes. "I love you most." She says and grabs Zach's hand. Lauren smiles as she watches the happy couple walk out together. "Let's go." Austin says as he tosses Lauren her gun. Mike nods and grabs Lauren's hand and they walk out together.
Austin grabs a can of food and tosses it to Lauren. "That's it." Mike says. They were walking out of the store when they saw another group. Mike and Austin pulled out their guns as Lauren gently put everything down. She made sure she had her gun and knife and walked over to the two arguing groups. There wasn't a lot of people in the other one. Maybe four or five but she couldn't see their faces. She walks up and pulls out her gun. She scans each persons eyes. She comes across a pair of very familiar eyes. She drops her gun. Her eyes fill with tears. The other person does the same. Lauren runs up to the girl and hugs her as tight as possible. "Melanie!" Lauren screams as she tightens her grip on the girl. "Lauren." The girls pull away. "This is my best friend Melanie. She good." Mike smiled at Lauren and so did Austin. Lauren turns back to Melanie. "That's my boyfriend Mike and my other best friend Austin." Melanie smiles at the two boys. "Nice to meet you." She says in a sweet tone. Austin smiles. "Hiiiii I'm Austin." He says. Melanie laughs. After arguing for a while, the group decides that Melanie and another guy and girl named Jack and Nikki are going with her. The others didn't want to come. Lauren and Melanie talk half way home. Then Melanie and Austin start talking and Lauren and Mike start talking. They get home and Austin says Melanie can sleep with him. "When will Tracey and the others be back?" Lauren asks. "Tomorrow night by the earliest." Austin replies. "We should go pick them up." Zach said with a smile. "Yeah but we'll have to leave as soon as it's light out." Austin said. The group nodded and talked some more before going to sleep.
The girl in the picture is Melanie. I just thought it would be cool to have Lauren's best friend because idk. Oh well bye
