Chapter 16: Sleepover

Luke wakes me up by shooting me in the face with a water gun. I give him a deathly glare, wiping the water from my face. 

"You suck," I punch his arm. 

"We're leaving in twenty minutes because we're meeting the rest of the gang for breakfast at Starbucks - although I'm confused at what you eat for breakfast there. Anyway get your butt outta bed and get ready," he drums his hands against my legs. 

"Muffins and coffee I guess," I shrug before doing a roly-poly off the bed. 

"So guys, Zac wants to have a games night at mine on Thursday. Guys make dinner. Girls make dessert. Does that sound good?" I ask as we all sit around a wooden picnic table during lunch break. All the guys agree even Seth which makes my heart happy. All the girls want to see how cute Zac and I are together, so they're all coming.

No one else is home when I get home after school so I call Zac hoping he's free. To my luck he picks up first ring.

"Hey baby, how was your day? I'm really missing you," he says when he picks up.

 "Hmm it was pretty good besides when Luke pushed me over during lunch break and I landed in a puddle. The day went by pretty fast. I miss you too Zac. How about you, how was your day?"

"I just had to council a few kids then I came home. Pippy I'm serious about missing you. Do you think your mama would mind if I came over and stayed the night?  Now that you're mine I want to hold you all the time."

"I think she would love it if you came over. Kyra has dance today so they'll have dinner at McDonalds. I'm gonna make me some food so I can make you some too if you'd like. "

"Heck yeah. I'm leaving now. See you in half an hour. Golly I have the best girlfriend." 

"Thank you, see you soon."

When Zac hangs up I realise I have to actually make food not just a sandwich. I search through the fridge and decide to make homemade wedges, steak and mushrooms. I also text mum telling her I'm making her dinner and give her a heads up on my boyfriend's appearance.

By the time Zac arrives I have cooked everything and it is served. He walks in without knocking and lifts me in the air. "This is how much I've missed you," he hums spinning me around. After placing me back on the ground, he attaches his lips to mine. 

This kiss isn't slow. It's a "I've missed you like crazy" kiss. One arm is around my waist with the hand firm against my bum. The other is gripping my hip. His lips move fast against mine. I let out a sigh of happiness as he nibbles on my bottom lip. After a few moments our tongues meet. This kiss has turned into a make out and I have no complaints. My hands slip under his shirt, sneaking across his abs and pecs. But eventually we have to pull away to breathe.

Good thing we do pull away because at that moment Kyra runs in throwing down her school bag in the middle of the floor. 

"Family!" She shouts hugging us both.

 Zac chuckles and I can see the 'Let's finish that later' look in his eyes. I lean down to kiss her head and tell her that I love her. Luca soon joins us. I pick him up kissing both his smoochy cheeks before giving him an Eskimo kiss. 

"Hey baby boy," I coo squeezing his little body in my arms. 

"Hey 'nelope," he grins playing with the hair at the back of my neck. Next to me Zac holds Kyra. This is the best feeling. "Mummy said we have to shower," Luca whispers in my ear, loosening his arms around my neck.
