I am awoken to the smell of bacon drifting into the room. Without any hesitation I slide out of Zac's comfy bed and scuffle into the kitchen wiping the sleep from my eyes as I do so. "Good morning my beautiful girlfriend, your phone has been buzzing a lot but I didn't want to be nosy. Breakfast will be ready soon," Zac points with the spatula at my phone lying on the coffee table. Oh crap! I forgot to call Luke. I excuse myself to the balcony and press the green call button.

"Why have you been ignoring me?" Luke says as soon as he picks up.

"Luke I haven't been ignoring you. I was just busy. Zac asked me to be his girlfriend last night so my mind has been elsewhere. I'm sorry," I try to explain.

"I needed your help, Eden wanted to have sex but I didn't want to ruin everything by jumping in to it. I think she's a little hurt and I feel so bad."

"Lukey bear honestly I am so proud of you. Whoop whoop! Trust me she'll appreciate it. Maybe she thinks you don't want her like that. Just give her the reassurance that you definitely do want her, but want to wait a little longer before taking your relationship to that level. I mean you've only just met. Luke, you have a reason to feel the need to slow down. If anything you just proved that you respect the girl. I'm sorry I didn't help yesterday, but I know that you made the right decision. Why don't you come over later tonight and we can chat like girls."

"Okay you are on, see you then. Love you my bestest pal."

"Have a good day Luke. You made the right decision and yes I love you too."

When I walk back into the kitchen Zac is  sitting on a stool at the breakfast bar smiling.

"Sorry I was a bit in trouble. I forgot to call Luke last night."

"Penelope it is fine," he assures me pulling my body in between his legs. Brushing a strand of hair away from my face he places kisses on both of my cheeks. Then on my still half asleep eye lids.

His arms wrap around my waist as he kisses my nose, my forehead, my chin and everywhere on my face except my lips. In his arms I feel like a precious China doll. But this time the china doll concept is a good thing. He is handling me with so much care and love. When he finally does kiss my lips I forget about my morning breath. Lost in the way our lips fit together perfectly, like they were made for each other. He slightly nibbles at my bottom lip causing me to let out a small gasp. We both giggle into the kiss, relishing in the moment. My hands find their way into his hair at the back of his neck. Pulling his face closer I deepen the kiss. There is small amount of tongue but it isn't hot and passionate. The kiss is careful and delicate. When we eventually pull way, we are both beaming.

"Weeew I'm kissing you more often. If that's the slow kissing, I am going to faint of joy when we make out. Oh my goodness. You are just so amazing and all mine," Zac hums playing with my fingers.

I blush kissing his cheek before taking a seat. I hear him laugh and mumble something about me being cute while I dig into my breakfast English muffin. He has made it just the way I like it with the cheese melted to the bottom muffin, bacon on top of that then a hash brown, an egg, spicy homemade tomato sauce and a buttered top muffin to finish. Mama always said "if the guy can cook marry him" and boy oh boy can Zac cook. I don't even look away from the plate until I have downed the whole thing.

"I love a girl who can eat," Zac grins handing me glass of chocolate Nesquik my secret favourite drink.

"Thank you babe, this is splendid. How did I get a guy as perfect as you?" I coo with my straw between my lips.

"I ain't perfect but you know that, so I will just take the compliment. Anyway I have to go do a house visit at lunch time, one of the boys I mentor attempted to break into a gym last night. So I gotta sort that out. I will drop you home on Shirley then go to his from there. Is that alright? I'm sorry I can't spend the rest of the day with you," his expression tells me he is feeling extremely guilty. But he doesn't need to.

" Zac I don't mind at all. That boy needs you. A lot. With all that's going on with Conroy I am all for stopping the cycle here before it can get worse. I am excited to ride on Shirley again. It's been ages," I smile thinking back to the last time I rode on Zac's motorbike. I hug him tightly burying my face in my his chest.

"But can we hang out sometime this week? I need to see you," he says into my hair. In my head I picture my calendar, thinking of which night I am free.

"Yeah on Wednesday night Kyra and Luca are staying with Nana and Mum is going to stay with Millie. You can come stay the night if you like. We can go do something as well. This time I will pay," I suggest tracing the tattoo of a feather that rests on his hip with my fingertip. I think him and Carter have matching tattoos but Carter's is on his shoulder blade.

"How about you introduce me to your friends. We could have a board games night and the guys make dinner and girls  make dessert and all of us bring one snack food. That could be fun," Zac suggests twirling my hair around his finger.

"Sounds good I will tell them all tomorrow. I'm excited for you to meet them.  Conroy will be happy to see you. You can help him figure stuff out, because there are things I don't really understand," I smile leaning up to peck his lips.

"Go shower while I do the dishes," Zac tells me tapping his hands against my bum. I open my mouth to protest and say I will do the dishes. But he stops me, pressing his lips firmly on mine for just a moment. But it is long enough to take me aback. "Go baby," he smirks.

I use a little bit of Zac's two body washes- citrus and baby soap. Therefore I will most definitely smell like him. When I get out I grab the towel Zac has left out for me. It's big and fluffy. With the towel wrapped around my body I walk into the bedroom and grab the outfit I have set out for today.

Zac must've showered while I got dressed because by the time I am finished doing a touch of make up he is waiting by the door. We race to the car park and climb on Shirley. After strapping my helmet on, I wrap my arms around his torso and we're off.
