School the next week is rather boring and by Friday morning we're all ready for the weekend to start. The first two periods I have P.E and English which means a whole two periods with Luke and Tommy. That is totally fine with me. Because classes with Luke always go faster because he makes me laugh the whole time.

In P.E we are versing Mr Maclean's group in a game of non-stop cricket. This is definitely not my favourite sport, but I'll make sure I have fun. Our team begin in fielding I stand a meter or so between both Tommy and Luke so I'm still a part of the game but I am also socialising.

"How come you couldn't talk last night?" Luke asks when Piper steps up to bat.

"Cause I was at Charlie's he had a small get together. He got into the business school he applied for, so he wanted to celebrate. Then Zac took me out for late dessert, " I try really hard to calculate where Piper is aiming.

"I love you having a boyfriend and all but weren't we meant to night time phone call buddies? You aren't holding up your end of the deal. Tommy don't you think she's getting a bit slack?" Luke complains making me laugh a little.

"Woah don't get me involved in your complaints. I think Poodle just gets busy. Especially this week, she needed to take her mind of things," Tommy takes my side.

"Oh Tommy Tom Tom I love you," I jump on his back, totally forgetting that we are the middle of a game and the ball flies between the two boys who totally miss the catch.

"Sorry to break it to you guys. But you three need to split up if you're planning on winning," Mr Maclean aka Sam says and that's the end of that, I have to try get through a whole game without being able to laugh.  I keep sending pouting faces to Sam who just wriggles his eyebrows and shakes his head. When we swap over to batting I send a playful punch his way. To which he wags his finger, "I have to be professional Loopy, plus I'm trying to get Miss VF to like me. I can't have her thinking that I have a habit of flirting with her students."

"You ass," I cheekily snicker, kicking his shin lightly.

"I know, I do have a pretty sexy ass don't I?"

"So much for being professional," I shake my head before asking Violet to swap with me so I am behind Tommy, "you're such a great pal, Tommy. Thank you for everything you do, " I whisper wrapping my arms around his waist from behind.

"So are you Poodle. I'm here whenever you need me," I can hear the smile in his voice as he places his hands on mine.

"We needa hang at my tree house sometime soon. Because I have done a whole lot of improvements to it and I wanna show you. Just some quality Tommy and Penelope time," I rest my head on his shoulder. Our conversation is interrupted when Luke appears in front of Tommy.

"I let all the people behind me go in front of me," he explains with a beaming smile.

"There's no separating you three is there?" Sam attempts to sound growly but I can tell he's trying not to laugh.

"Nope," the three of us say in unison.

Lunchtime arrives and we all sit in the courtyard around the wooden tables. Eva and troupe also join us. "What subject does everyone have after lunch?" Blade, Opal's boyfriend asks the group.

"Study, just like you" Luke declares, "so does Penelope, Opal, Lexi, Seth, Beckett, Jayda and Jake," He points to each of as he says our name.

"Why's that?" Storm asks even though she has Chemistry.

"Because if  majority of us have study after lunch we could sign out of school and go tenpin bowling. The office lady won't ask questions, it would be super fun. Obviously if the people who don't have study need to go to class that's fine. But I thought it's just an idea instead of pretending we're doing homework when we're just watching TV series on our laptops."
