"Let's eat everyone!" Oliver said and no one argued. It smelled and looked so good I think I could've eaten the whole thing by myself. Everyone must've been hungry because we were all sat at the table in a matter of seconds, none of us were concerned or even noticed who we were sat by until all the food was served.

As it turns out I was sat next to Michael and Ruby, opposite me was Cole, Carter and Alec. Talk over dinner didn't really happen because we were all too busy eating. We must stay here as long as possible because this food is amazing, far better than anything I've ever eaten before. Once we were finished was all stacked our plates and I sighed happily. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

Finn, Charlie and Oliver were busy talking furtively at the end of the table, I would like to know what about. I think if they're going to sell us out they would've done something to show it already. For starters Charlie and Carter wouldn't have introduced themselves. I should talk to the other about it later. It was all quiet until all of us were nearly finished and Finn decided to say something.

"Well, I have decided something." He turned to look at me and then at all of my friends. "When the war comes, and it will, me, Charlie and Cater will be in your army. If you were chosen by God to save the whole planet then you're going to need an army and we will be the first to join it." What do I say to that? I don't want to fight a war and these people are willing to put their lives on the line and join an army that I have to lead.

"When the time comes and the war starts I will take you up on the offer. Until the time come, I will need your help. We should start with people who would fight with us, we need to talk strategies and weapons. There is a lot of planning involved in war and I will need all the help I can get." I think I said the right thing but I have no idea. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Michael smile slightly.

"We will help you with that. For each day you train with Michael, come to me and I'll teach you battle strategies. Cole, Alec, Ruby, you are welcome as well. It would be good for you to all learn these things." I think I said the right thing. It should be interesting learning this stuff, it sounds better than math and English at least, and I'll actually use this stuff.

Once our meal was finished, we all headed to our respective rooms which, as it turns out, is all on the same corridor. My room was between Michael's and Ruby's and opposite Carter, Carters room was between Finn's and Charlie's, Oliver's room was between Michael's and Finn's. On the other side of Ruby's room was Cole's and on the other side of Charlie's room was Alec's. Now I know whose room is whose and which room to put a stink bomb in.

When I got in, I changed into some pajamas and went straight to bed. It had been a long day and I have no doubt that tomorrow could be worse. More people could come and I'd have to talk to them, Michael could relapse into a moron overnight, I have no idea but at least it wasn't my normal boring life. I miss my mum and my friends but that's it, I know they're all alive but I still miss them. My Mum, who may or may not be evil, is still my mum. After a while I fell asleep but it was far from dreamless.

Slash. Hack. Dodge. Duck. Slash.

We were killing the demon army easily. Michael had an old looking sword completely massacring every demon in sight while Cole, Alec and Ruby were fighting back to back so no one could sneak up on them. On my left Finn, Charlie, Carter and Oliver were hacking the demons to pieces. The demons who got past us were killed by the army behind us. This was our last stand, we had all loved, and we had all lost. If this was the end and we were going to die, then we were going to go down swinging.

Those of us who were left were some of the best fighters in the world. Well, that's the reason we were still alive after all. Suddenly in front of me was a huge demon and I luckily managed to duck his first blow and stabbed sword ignem caelestem, which translates from Latin into English as Heavenly Fire.

The first to die was Charlie. A demon got close enough to stab him and he lent down. Carter stopped fighting and ran to his body, he was the next to die. He didn't even try to fight back, it was like he just gave. They were born together and now they've died together. Finn looked at their bodies and to him all hope was lost.

All of the fight just left Finn at that second but he continued however it wasn't in the way he had before and soon his name was added to the ever-growing list of the dead. Turning to head over to Alec, Ruby and Cole I saw something that froze the blood in my veins. While I had been so focused on Charlie, Carter and Finn I had failed to notice the demons kill Cole, Ruby and Alec.

Oliver, seeing that most of us were dead, headed over towards me and Michael but he never made it. Halfway towards us he fell forwards and I soon saw why, there was a huge black battle-axe in his back. As there weren't many of us left the army behind us began to become smaller as more and more people were being killed.

On the front lines, it was just me and Michael left but we were not fighting at our best. All we had left now was each other and now that wasn't going to last. Taking out a few more demons when a black arrow struck Michael in the heart. I was the last one left and they were all dead, now I have nothing and no one left. Giving in to the overwhelming hordes of demons, I sank to my knees and waited for the killing blow to strike.

Gasping, I sat bolt upright in bed. I must say that was the strangest dream I have ever had. Maybe that was one of my new powers, seeing the future. Personally I hope not because I do not want that to happen. I may not have known any of these people for long but I don't want them to die. Thinking for a second, I decide I should tell Michael about my dream. But I don't want to wake him up. I'll tell him in the morning.

Looking at the clock on my bedside table, it was about two am and there's no way I'm going back to sleep. In the end I decided to get up and go to the kitchen. Last night I ate a lot but I'm still hungry and I want to eat now before I have to fight people for it. I think a midnight feast is in order, well, it will hardly be a feast but I'll eat something to tide me over until breakfast.

When I went down to dinner, I remember every corridor in case I needed to find my way back to my room quickly. At least now it'll come in handy now. As I silently navigated my way through the fort, I tried to be as quiet as possible because I didn't know if the others were awake or not and I didn't want to wake them up. Stealthily walking into the kitchen, I turn the lights on and almost jump out of my skin.
